Review: Balea 3 in 1 Cleansing Cloths

I have bought these a few times, and thought I might be a novel idea to review them too. These Balea 3 in 1 Cleansing Cloths are available at Shopper's Drug Mart (exclusively, I think) and are about $9 full price, but I keep seeing them at $5.99. Who doesn't love a bargain?

Package label

As you can see from the name, these pre-moistened cleansing cloths are 3 in 1, meaning they moisturize and can be used for the face and eye area. These work great for removing eye makeup (except waterproof formulas) and do not cause any stinging or irritation. They remove makeup well too and leave your skin feeling quite clean. I only use these to remove makeup beofre cleansing, as I don't think that a cloth (no matter how good the quality) can clean like a proper wash, but I like to use a wipe to remove my makeup so my cleanser can do just that; cleanse. Your cleanser isn't going to be able to do a full job if it is trying to cut through your makeup too.

Cloth close up, see the "nubs"

I like that these cloths come in not only the typical plastic pouch, but the pouch comes inside a tight closing plastic despenser. As for the individual cloth, they have a smooth side, and a textured side with round "nubs" for removing makeup. I found that the first time I used them, the first half of the wipes seemed a bit dry, but the second half was perfectly wet. So, this time when I opened the package I stored it upside down until I got to about the middle. This redistributed the liquid perfectly. These are a great value, as you get 60 in the package, which is more than most brands give you per package.

Have you tried these wipes? What did you think?

  1. Not good at all if you have acne prone skin, I tried it out and had major break outs.
