NOTD: Revlon Scented Nail Polish in Not So Blueberry

Just a nail of the day today, and it isn't even a very new polish- I believe this came out last year- but it seems Revlon is pushing the same collection of scented polishes again for this summer/spring. I never picked up any during their last go around, so I thought that I'd try one.

There are quite a few shades to the scented collection, but the display that I saw was pretty picked over. Out of what was left, Not So Blueberry seemed to be the winner. The colour of this one is very hard to capture, so you'll just have to take my word... this one is a duo chrome that blends from a lilac-y purple to a periwinkle blue shade flecked with micro glitter. I was surprised at how much scent this polish had. It is supposed to have scent once dry, but I could smell the sweet fruitiness even when it was still wet. The scent was a candy type of blueberry. It was artificial smelling, but not in a gross way, and you could actually tell that it was blueberry. I had a set of top coat and lip balm when I was 12 that had the exact same smell as this one, I loved it. I was surprised at how strong the smell was even after a thick top coat. I didn't think that the sent would stick around after the top coat.

All in all, an alright polish, and an interesting concept. Have you tried any of scented polishes? What did you think?

  1. I've tried their regular polishes, but not the scents ones, I smelled them, they smelled weird to me, haha
