China Glaze Haul (and an OPI too!)

I've been on a China Glaze kick lately, especially the Up and Away collection. My order of the last few I wanted arrived a day or so ago. From left to right I got: Something Sweet, Re-Fresh Mint, Flyin' High, Four Leaf Clover and Grape Pop. I now have the majority of the collection and am super excited to get to wearing them all.

Something Sweet

I did get a chance to try out "Something Sweet" a light pink cream. This is such a perfect pink! It is a pastel type pink, but it doesn't look chalky or harsh. This was two coats, but I found the formula to be quite thick. It worked out okay, as it did level on it's own, but it was a bit tricky to get even coats.

My Private Jet

The OPI I picked up was "My Private Jet" descried as being a charcoal/brown (I see some copper as well) glitter. The original was a holo, then OPI discontinued it, then they brought it back, but it was never the same and now lacks the holo effect. Regardless, I thought it looked interesting and worth a try.

The necklaces I ordered from Ebay also arrived today! I really only wanted the pewter toned one, but they came in a set, and for $5 with free shipping, I wasn't about to be choosy. They are quite heavy and are of a surprisingly good quality on long chins. I don't know how often I'll actually wear them, but they are super cute.

Have you hauled anything interesting lately?

  1. I hauled a bunch of makeup and a guess watch from amazon and sent it to my relatives in the US. Waiting to get it from them when they come on the weekend, pretty cool not paying crazy about of shipping to Canada.

I love the Up and Away collection from China Glaze, one of my favs for sure.
