NOTD: Butter London No More Waity, Katie

When the Butter London fall polish swatches started popping up in the blog-o-sphere I fell in love with the shade Wallis- a tarnished metallic olive, but it became apparent shipping just one polish was a bit rediculous, so I ordered a few. The first one to hit my nails was No More Waity, Katie.

This shade is pretty much old hat by now, as it was released in the spring to correspond with the Royal Wedding. I wasn't sure what I thought of it at the time, but when I saw that it was re-released with the fall shades I thought that I might as well give it a go.

Now, I had heard that this shade was hard to apply, but it was down right hellish. It was super thick from the get go and really goopy. The first coat was really thin, and a mess really, but the second coat really turned things around (looks wise, anyway.) All said and done, this polish looks great, with it's grayed purple base and lilac glitter (that has a hint of a pink flash in the right light.) I don't think I'll have fun removing, but that's a different story.

Have you tried this polish? Was yours troublesome to apply?

EDIT: So after the above was posted I went about my day, took my trash/recycling out, got my mail. As I was unlocking my door I looked down to see I had LOST TWO WHOLE NAILS OF POLISH- I was pretty shocked, it just flaked off. I had used my bestest base coat and top coat and that's the thanks I get? I am not pleased that I paid $17 a bottle (the Canadian price) for that sort of quality. Not even a full day :(

  2. Wow! Shocking that it didn't last a whole day! :( But on the bright side, I guess you'll have more fun to remove it that way! :)
