Review: MAC Narcissus Creamsheen Glass

A fast little review of one of my new favourite glosses. I ordered Narcissus a few weeks ago when the Daphne Guinness collection came out. MAC's Creamsheen formula is my preferred MAC gloss, so I tend to keep an eye out for new shades. I should apologize for the above photo as well... I don't know what I was drinking, but none of my tube photos were very good, and at present my camera batteries are charging. Chances are you know what the tube looks like anyway. Right?

 MAC Narcissus Creamsheen Gloss

MAC Narcissus Creamsheen Gloss

Narcissus is described as being a "dirty eggplant" but that really doesn't describe this very well at all. The shade is more like a slightly dirty magenta purple. I love a good purple gloss so this one was a no brainer for me. The gloss is fairly opaque for a Creamsheen and wears easily, meaning it is neither too thick or too thin or too sticky. The colours looks quite intense in the tube, but is a very wearable raspberry purple. I love that this shade doesn't settle into lip lines either.

Have you tried this gloss? Which Creamsheen shade is your fave?

  1. Love how pigmented it is.

  2. I was pleasantly surprised at the non-stickiness when I tried a cremesheen glass for the first time. As you know, MAC glosses are mostly so sticky! I'd love to get this gloss but I am kind of on a no-buy :( Just planning to get Viva Glam Nicki

  3. I'm looooooooving Narcissus right now <3 I love how it provides a bright pop of colour but it's not obnoxious and still wearable for everyday. :)
