Autumn Blush!

I think, if pressed for a quick answer, I'd proclaim Autumn/Fall as my favourite season... I don't care for the humidity and overtly hot, so Summer's out. I don't mind the cold, but I hate ice, so there goes Winter. I like rain, and flowers, but I hate allergies, so Spring is a mixed bag. That leaves Autumn, with it's crisp leaves, cool weather- sweater weather, perfect for layering, scarves, and pumpkin flavoured everything! Yes, Autumn is my favourite season. While deep, vampy lips are something I'm still working on loving, I do love the Autumnal blushes that come out this time of year.

When it comes to  Autumn blushes, I gravitate towards neutral, dusty tones the most, but I also like to have a few deeper options- usually pinky plums. To be honest, the only blush I've used in the past few weeks has been the Stila Convertable Colour in Lillium, as I've had it in my collection for a while and want to use it up before it's no longer useable. Luckily for me, it's dusty rose shade is perfect for Fall.

mark. Good Glowing Custom Pick Blush- Star Glo is a pale neutral pink. I'd call this a three season blush, as the pale pink hue works just as nicely in Winter and Spring as it does Autumn. This shade is better suited to the fair-light skinned, as it is a pale shade and not intensely pigmented (not enough to wear well on deeper skin tones.)

Stila Convertable Colour- Lillium is a nude hued dusty pink. I really love this shade and how easily it wears. I use a my Sigma F50 to apply this lightly, as a little bit goes a long way. As much as I love this as a blush, I find the formula doesn't wear that well on lips.

MAC Powder Blush- Prim & Proper is a beigey nude, with soft champagne shimmer. It doesn't look amazing in the pan, but it glows on skin. When I don't know what blush to wear, I often end up wearing it, or...

Lancome Blush Subtil- Miel Glace is quite similar to MAC Prim & Proper, but does read differently when worn. It is a pale, beige pink with very fine silver shimmer. It is a gorgeous blush, that makes your overall complexion... well, look amazing. Again, it doesn't look that wonderful in the pan, but it's defiantly a looker once worn.

Too Faced Papa Don't Peach is a shimmering bronze peach. I love a good peach blush, and the addition of bronze makes this shade a bit warmer a quite appropriate for an Autumn glow.

Annabelle #48 (Chestnut) is a pinky plum shade, that has a slight mauve tone when worn. I haven't worn this shade much, but Annabelle's blushes have an amazing amount of pigment and wear very well, the only thing I don't get, is that they don't put the name of the blush on the packaging. It shows on the in store display, but the package only has a number.

La Femme Blush- Purple Passion is a blue based purple with blue shimmer, but it reads more plummy when worn. It is insanely pigmented, and you have to apply it very gently, but it is very pretty when worn with a simple eye and neutral lip.
