OPI Golden Eye and The World is Not Enough

This year's Holiday offerings from OPI are inspired by the newest James Bond movie, Skyfall. Now, I'm not particularly a Bond fan; I think I've seen three out of the... however many movies were made (and there are quite a few) and I'm quite certain it was a male companion who put me up to it each time. Anyhow, out of the twelve limited edition polishes, Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough caught my eye. Let's take a look!

OPI Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough

 OPI Goldeneye

Goldeneye as described by OPI 'all eyes will be upon you when you wear this glorious gold.' This is a deep gold with deep yellow tones. I'm usually not one for strong golds, but I just couldn't pass this on by. It has a clear base, but it is jam packed with gold glitter. I ended up needing three coats for it to be fully opaque, but two almost got the job done. For a glitter, this builds up super easily.

OPI The World is Not Enough

The World is Not Enough as described by OPI ' this rosy silver is as addictive as beautiful.'While I don't think that their description is very true, this is a very unique shade. To me, it reads more as a lilac toned taupe with flecks of pink, silver and blue shimmer. When I first saw it in the bottle, I wondered if it was going to be similar to My Private Jet (it looks quite brown in the bottle) but it is clearly it's own colour. This shade almost reads as a foil once on, but it's not. This was two coats.

Did you pick up on any of the polishes from this collection? What did you think of it overall?
