Origins GinZing Eye Cream

I feel kind of like a... big old liar. I've realized that as someone who claims to be indifferent when it comes to eye creams, I've reviewed at least a handful already and have another to add to the list. That, and I quite like this one. I'm not sure I recognize myself anymore...

Origins GinZing Eye Cream $30/ 0.5 oz

" Late night? Long flight? Look tired all the time? Prepare to become one of the perky people! Nature's clinically-proven morning-after eye cream instantly reduces dark circles. Unsightly bags and puffiness virtually disappear. And Origins proprietary complex of Caffeine from Coffee bean, Panax Ginseng, Magnolia Extract and natural optic brighteners rapidly wakes up, refreshes and restores radiance to tired eyes." - Origins

As I've stated before, I don't feel it necessary that my skincare routine include an eye cream, but every now and then I find myself possessing one, or in the case of this particular eye cream, wanting one, really bad. Lately, brightening products have been all I've been drawn to. Anything that can give me a bit radiance/glow or ease the dullness that often comes around during colder seasons, chances are I want it.

 Origins GinZing- lightly blended

Luckily for me, Origins GinZing not only brightens, but it moisturizes quite nicely. I was a bit hesitant when I first dipped into it, as I wondered if it would end up being a shimmery mess once applied as it does look quite shimmery in the pot, but once you tap it on and it absorbs, you don't see shimmer, just brighter, refreshed looking skin.

Origins claims that this cream also helps to reduce puffiness, which I can't verify, as I don't get puffiness, but it does work wonders at balancing out dark circles and shadows under eyes. I like that while it is a light textured cream, it still gives a good amount hydration and a little dab goes a long way. Good to know if like me, you feel a bit silly spending $30 on a little pot of eye cream.

Overall, I definitely enjoy this eye cream, and, wait for it... can actually see myself purchasing it again. Have you tried it? What did you think?
