Avon Always on Point Eyeliner

Another day, yet another pencil... I totally wasn't over exaggerating when I said I was experiencing an influx in liners, but you know what? These are so neat, I really don't mind at all. You might be wondering what could be so interesting, they just look like your basic eyeliners, but you would be wrong. So wrong! Want to find out what makes these so magical?

Avon Always on Point Eyeliner- Lavender Grey*, Deep Plum*, Midnight Navy*, Black* 0.31g $9.99

'Precise lines every time! An Avon beauty breakthrough- patent pending cap with built in sharpener! Smudge and waterproof, stay true colour all day.' -Avon

These, ladies, are self sharpening eyeliners! Holy crap, Batman! When I first opened one of these up I was a bit 'huh, new eyeliners...' but I hadn't read the product fact sheet. I didn't realize the wondrous creation I held in my hands. You see, I have the terrible habit of putting my pencils away dull. Do you know how frustrating it is when you're trying to do your makeup quickly and every pencil you go to grab is worn down to the wood/plastic? It's not fun. With these bad boys, you needn't ever find yourself in that situation again. Total game-changer.

The sharpening mechanism is housed in the cap of the liner, and automatically sharpens the pencil when you re-cap them. To release more product, you push the top plastic part of the pencil down (sort of like a mechanical pencil) but there is no way to put it back, so don't get all trigger happy- you'll end up wasting it because it will get sharpened away when you put the cap back on. Not that I'd know from experience or anything.....

These pencils apply pretty easily, and have great pigmentation. Can we all take a moment to gaze upon Lavender Grey?! I am totally smitten with this shade- it's a slightly metallic, lavender tinged grey- so gorgeous and unlike any pencil I've ever seen. LOVE it!

These pencils really do hold on tight, and DO NOT BUDGE once on. They last all day, yet remove easily with a good remover. What more could you want?

Overall, I totally suggest you- at the very least- pick up Lavender Grey, and honestly, the concept of a self sharpening pencil is just too good to pass up! Do you like the idea of these? Which shade(s) do you like? Trick question, we all know the answer is Lavender Grey!
