Revlon Selects: Nude and Neon feat. Revlon Colourstay Longwear Nail Enamel in Nude Beige

I feel like a neglectful blogger- In preparations to take my little blog set up on the road (I'm going to be house/pet sitting, starting tomorrow) I haven't posted anything. I've got a plethora of posts half ready, just sitting in draft. You can't really see them if they're in draft, now can you?

To my surprise, I received a few Revlon nail goodies from the Revlon Selects program- I thought it was a one time thing, so I was quite surprised. The first item I ended up using was the Revlon Colourstay Long Wear Nail Enamel in Nude Beige. I love a good nude polish, but seeing as it's Spring, and bright colours are popping up, I thought I'd add a bit of neon flair to an otherwise neutral look.

Revlon Colourstay Longwear Nude Beige is a darker nude- for my skin tone- that can best be summed up as being a coffee and cream shade. It is a pretty universal tone that should flatter skin tones both lighter and darker than mine.

This was my first time using the Colourstay polishes, and I have to say, I'm impressed! They have a flattened/wide brush that makes application quick and clean, and the formula is pretty much perfect- two simple coats to opacity and a really great shine.

I added a bit of neon with two of my favourites: China Glaze Sun Worshipper and Flip Flop Fantasy. Since neons can be a bit fickle, I prepped my accent nails with white polish to let the neon really pop and let me get away with only two coats.

I will definitely be taking a second look next time I see a Revlon Colourburst Longwear polish display! Have you tried the line? Thoughts?
