Mary Kay Makeup Finishing Spray by Skindinavia

Helloooo, Blogfans!

I hope everyone had a great (long, if you're Canadian) weekend. I spent mine tearing apart my closet, and then putting it back of course. I headed into my bedroom on Friday to get a bunch of swatching/blog business done, as this blogger is majorly behind on a few things, but I was carting a new tank top and jeans with me. I was going to just plop them on the bed, but thought it would be best to hand them up before a little furry friend decided to take a nap on them. Dark wash denim and white cat fur don't mix all that well. Anyway, when I opened my closet I decided something needed to be done. It's been a straight up disaster since... well, awhile. It made me quiver just thinking about it, but three days later and I've tackled it. I got rid of a bunch of stuff/clothes and found quite a few things I'd completely forgotten about. Even a batch of B&BW candles! Awesomesauce!

Continuing on to what you really want- the beauty. Today's item up for discussion is the Mary Kay Makeup Finishing Spray by Skininavia. Read on!

'This innovative product helps prevent makeup meltdown and keeps makeup looking freshly applied for hours; in fact, makeup lasts for up to 16 hours. It’s for any skin type, even oily, and keeps face feeling cool and refreshed when sprayed onto the face. Won’t stain, dries quickly, and washes off easily.' -Mary Kay

I love facial mists and setting sprays, so I was really looking forward to trying this spray. I remember Skindinavia sprays being popular in the blogosphere a few years ago and I always wanted to try one, but never got around to it, so I love that they've paired up with Mary Kay.

This spray is light- the pump actually dispenses a mist, so you wont get soaked by it, and it dries quickly. The finish is completely natural (ie. not tacky, matte or shiny.) I don't always use powder to set my foundation, so I like to use a finishing spray to keep everything in place, but when I do use powder, I especially like to one, as it cuts any powdery finish that might be left on my skin.I am pleased to report this spray does both of those things very well.

Overall, I really like this spray. I know come the warmer months I'll definitely appreciate having this on hand as it does do double duty and can act as a cooling skin refresher. Great for the times you feeling like your makeup just might be melting off your face! Have you tried this? Do you use finishing sprays? Which is your fave?
