The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Pastel Cushion Blusher

Today we've got another super cute Asian item that I hauled along with my Etude House Sweet Collection items in the form of The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Pastel Cushion Blusher in Coral Cushion (and breathe!) Did I really need another peach hued blush? Not even. Did I fall for the little pot and bow adorned powder puff? You bet!

The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Pastel Cushion Blusher- Coral Cushion $7-8 (approx.)

While I'll admit that this didn't fare all that well when swatched, but this is a really great little blush. The texture is really soft (like buttah!), smooth and decently pigmented. I initially hesitated dipping the crisp, white powder puff into the blush, but I did anyway, and found that it is a really great way to apply this. It applies so easily, you can just pop it on without much effort or thought, and end up with a fresh, peachy flush. The shade is labeled as coral but on skin it really is more of a peach shade. In the pan the shade looks like it has a bit of a glowing property to it, but it doesn't really show up on the skin as being shimmery, just naturally glowing.

Overall, this is not only a super cute blusher, but a super wearable one. An added bonus is that while the pot is cardboard, it's incredibly thick, durable cardboard making this a fine choice to take on the go as it's not only compact, but it travels with it's own applicator (that doesn't suck!) Have you tried any Face Shop products?
