Avon Celestial Summer Colour Collection- Cosmic Nail Enamel

In the last installment of the Celestial Summer Colour Collection, we have the Cosmic Nail Enamel. I have to say, these are my favourites of the collection as you can't really go wrong with a few holo polishes.

There are ten shades in the Cosmic Nail Enamel lineup, and I have five to tempt you with. Ready?

Avon calls these 'stardust luster finish' polishes with 'holographic pearl effect.' Simply put, these are scattered holos. While they don't have the crazy colour play that linear holos have, the shimmering, scattered holo does catch the light really well and is quite evident on the nail, even in lower lighting.

Formula wise, these are pretty spectacular. The polish was the perfect consistency to swipe on with ease- almost all the shades only required two coats and dried to a high shine finish. With top coat I found that these wore bout 4-5 days on me, which is superb as I find almost all polishes chip on my nails by day 2-3.

Avon Cosmic Nail Enamel-Starlight*

Starlight is a golden-green and a green-gold shade simultaneously. It's a hard colour to describe, as it changes in different lighting situations. This was the first shade that I wore, and every time I had decided what the main colour was it would look a little bit different. A great shade for green and gold fans alike. Two coats.

 Avon Cosmic Nail Enamel-Saturn*

Saturn is a medium deep red-orange shade. Orange is not my favourite colour, but I like that this is a darker shade of orange and not a bright one. The darker shade allows the golden leaning holo shimmer to pop. That said, the holo effect was the weakest in this shade. Two coats.

Avon Cosmic Nail Enamel- Starburst*

Starburst is a raspberry shade that I love! It reminds me of OPI DS Extravagance, which I also love, but Starburst is brighter and not as purple toned. The holo leans a bit more blue in this shade than the others and is very pretty. Two coats.

Avon Cosmic Nail Enamel- Aurora*

Aurora is a medium purple. Pretty average shade, but the holo makes it sing. The holo leans a silvery-pink in the sun and is gorgeous! Two coats.

 Avon Cosmic Nail Enamel- Galaxy*

Galaxy is a medium blue with the slightest bit of teal. The formula of this was a bit thinner than the others and took three coats to completely cover visible nail line. The holo effect was really strong in this shade as it really flares in the light.

Overall, you totally can't go wrong with these polishes! If you love a little holo, you'll certainly want to pick up a few. Do you like holos?
