swatched: china glaze it's a trap-eze!

I cleaned out my closet a few weeks ago- it was not fun. At all. But, I did find a box. I kind of thought it had beauty type stuff in it, so I just tossed it aside for a rainy day. Today was far from rainy, but I did take a moment to see just what was in that box. Nail polish! A few other things too, but mostly nail polish. One of which happened to be China Glaze It's a Trap-eze! which was- until now- unloved and unswatched.

China Glaze It's a Trap-eze!  14ml

If memory serves me correct, this polish was released last November as part of the China Glaze Cirque du Soleil collection. This polish inspiration for this polish is definately came from the world of indies, which is what made me want it. Indies can be hard to get in Canada, and I'd been wanting a white based glitter.

The formula of this polish is... just meh. It's a bit thick, mainly because it seems to be 80% glitter to 20% polish. The easiest way to apply this is to dab it on, or you'll get glitter drag, but the white base is semi opaque so you also have to watch for bald patches. Not the fastest to apply, but it is kind of cute once on and you add a few layers of top coat to even out the surface. More of a Monet polish...

Amber just can't catch a break.

Have you tried this polish? Thoughts?
