sephora collection microsmooth luminizer - stardust

I find myself wanting items I don't need quite a bit, but most of the time I can usually talk myself out of hauling everything in sight. The key word there is most. Sometimes I cave and just go for it. That was the case with this Sephora Collection highlighter. After seeing it pop up on a few blogs I decided it had to be mine! My reasoning was that A) it's more than half the price of my beloved MAC MSFs and B) I don't really have a white/gold highlighter quite like this in my collection. Good enough right? Read on to see why I had to have it.

'MicroSmooth is made with ultralight, micronized advanced pigments that blend effortlessly into the skin to enhance your skintone and give a flawless no-makeup look and feel to the skin. It adds a natural, seamless luminescence to cheeks, temples, and browbone for a healthy-looking, radiant, and gorgeous glow. The breathable baked formula applies smoothly while the unique, airy texture perfectly melts into skin for a natural finish.' -Sephora

Oh. My. God. (Becky, look at her highlighter...) This is a really divine highlight- I'm feeling that gorgeous is getting to be a bit overused so I'll be trying a few new adjectives- and unlike any I have. I know the shade isn't all that unique, but somehow it's been one I've never thought to pick up. The shade is a luminous white-gold that has a shimmering quality, but isn't glittery or chunky. It's super smooth and light- it sort of melds onto skin and gives a beautiful glow (my swatches really don't do it justice.) It's glowy and luminous, but quite natural and pretty at the same time. People will definitely want to know what you've done to your skin because you will look amazing!

Defiantly jump on this one if you can! There is a second shade- Light Beam, a pink-champagne- but it's currently sold out. Have you tried this? Do you have a favourite highlight? Do tell!
