true blue spa 60 second manicure hand scrub

I love Bath and Body works candles- who doesn't, right? Every time I stock up on candles I also have to take a peek and see what's new or on sale from the True Blue Spa line. They always have something new (or on sale) and I've yet to try anything I didn't love. I've been meaning to review the True Blue Spa 60 Second Manicure Hand Scrub for a while, so let's get to it!

Why wait? This sugar-based exfoliating treatment makes quick work of dull, dry skin and ragged cuticles to give even the most mani-deprived hands a taste of soft, smooth, spa manicure perfection - in just one minute.
  • Sugar crystals provide exfoliation, resulting in smooth, glowing skin
  • Light citrus fragrance
  • Not tested on animals

I'll admit that hand scrubs aren't something I'd call an essential item, but I have really fond memories of helping my dad scrub his hands on Saturdays after working the garage. He had an industrial scrub (industrial sized, too) that was orange scented and it was my job to scoop it out of the tub so he could get ready to go out with my mom. I tried it once and it was so abrasive I thought I'd lost four layers of skin... Luckily True Blue Spa's version was not designed for manly man hands.

Housed in a plastic tub this pink goo is all sorts of awesome!  It separates a bit, so you have to give it a mix before using, but after that it's as simple as putting a dab of it on wet hands and scrubbing. As you scrub it turns white and the sugar scrubs and after about a minute dissolves completely. It's got a sweet grapefruit scent and leaves hands feeling soft, smoothed and even moisturized. I like to use this at night and then follow with a nice hand cream and cuticle oil for a full on pamper session.

Overall, this is a great item to have on hand (hardy-har-har.) Have you tried this? Do you have any favourite products to keep your hands in tip top shape? Do share!
