opi avojuice hand & body lotion- holly berry

A lot of times products get over-hyped and even though they're not that spectacular everyone ends up buying them anyway. Then there are the special few that don't get enough love and go under the radar. That's where OPI Avojuice was- I've heard of it, but never heard much about it. But you know what? It's... well, read on to find out!

OPI Avojuice- Holly Berry* 200ml $9.95

'OPI launches new limited edition Avojuice Skin Quenchers Hand & Body Lotion in
Holly Berry for the holiday season. Featuring a fresh holly scent, rich moisturizers, and soothing avocado and aloe extracts, Holly Berry keeps skin soft during cold winter weather.' -OPI

Firstly, the scent! If you love spiced fruit type scents you have to get this. OPI lists quite a few notes including top notes of apple peel, nashi pear, crushed pineapple, fir needle and Brazilian orange; middle notes of ground cinnamon, clove bud, black licorice and ripened berry accord; and base notes of shaved cedar, peach nectar, shredded coconut, vanilla bean and nude musk, but overall, it's a spiced berry scent. The scent lingers nicely, and if you're like me, you'll look a bit odd when you stop to sniff yourself every now and then- it's just so good!

As for the product itself, it's not your average moisturizer. The texture is wet and not as creamy feeling as you'd expect. When you first apply it, it applies with a wet feeling and then it's gone. It absorbs extremely quickly and leaves no residue- like, at all. It does leave skin really hydrated, and again, with that amazing scent.

Overall, I am a complete fan of Avojuice and the Holly Berry scent. It is limited edition, but there are quite a few other scents that sound pretty amazing which I'm certain I'll be trying soon. Holly Berry scent
will be available as of  October 2013, at professional salons and spas across Canada. Are you an Avojuice fan? Will you be picking this up?
