avon frosty'n fab glitter nail enamel and candylicious lipgloss

If there is ever a time to pile on glitter without abandon, it's the holidays. You can glimmer, shimmer and shine and no reasonable person will object, because reasonable people love a bit of glitter. They just do. Avon is doing their part to help you get there with not one but two super cute (and inexpensive!) products in the form of Frosty'N Fab Glitter Nail Enamel and Candylicious Lip Gloss. Read on for all the glitz!

'It's the sparkle trend that is perfect for the holidays! Looks great over solid shades. Wear it alone or layer it over polish. It adds a brilliant dash of glam to your holiday outfit, not to mention it's a sweet decoration for your vanity!'

Adorable snowmen -ahem, people-, nail polish, and glitter? Yes, please! The Frosty'N Fab Glitter Nail Enamel are more than just a pretty face (on a bottle, but still, a face.) The glitter polish held within is pretty much perfect for giving your base colour a bit more life. The ratio of clear base to glitter is great and it applies easily across the nail.

As much as I enjoy glitter from time to time, I really love matte glitter, so I added a coat of Essie Matte About You in lieu of top coat. I have three of the Frosty'N Fab Glitter shades swatched, but there is a fourth- Snowflake- a sliver glitter. All of the shades are made up of medium size hex glitter and tiny round glitter, both in the same shade.

'Glide on luscious color for lips as sweet as candy! Perfect to wear alone or to add over your lipstick for shimmering radiance. These delicious swirls give a whole new meaning to 'Sweet Kisses'!'

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Candylicious Lip Gloss is. I was kind of expecting something super sticky and too glittery, but these have a comfortable texture that is only minimally sticky and shimmer that catches the light beautifully. These have a sweet candy scent and slightly sweet taste, but surprisingly no minty-ness.

Candied Peach is pretty sheer, but gives lips a hint of a pink tint with lots of shine and shimmer. This is a great shade to pair over lipstick. Sugar Plum is a berry toned red, again, with lots of shine and shimmer. There are two other shades available- Gingerbread, a nude, and Pink Frosting, a pale, bright pink.

Overall, you really can't go wrong with any of these. They'll be perfect as a little hostess gift, stocking stuffer, or even as a topper on a wrapped gift... so many ways to spread holiday glitter! Are you a fan of shimmer and glitter during the holidays? Will you be picking up any of these super cute products?
