Bunny Love- Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Moist Mist and Petite Bunny Gloss Bar

I had a few different ideas for some Easter themed posts. The thing is, they all kind of centered around a bag of mini eggs. You know, the cute little candy coated chocolate eggs? Well, I had a few errands to run on Thursday (before everything would be closed for the holidays) so clearly that would be a good time to get them, no? Guess not, because I forgot to get my mini eggs. Wah, wah, wahhhh.

I had one back up plan, so that is what you get. Bunnies! Bunnies are pretty Easter-ish right? Read on to see two of the cutest bunny items you ever did see.

Avon Totally Kissable Lip Gloss

Oh, the humble lip gloss... I'd say lip gloss is where my makeup hoarding collecting really began. Is it really possible to have too many? Avon and I don't think so!

If the name seems a bit familiar, it's because these are the sister product to Avon Totally Kissable Lipstick (here.) Can the gloss live up to the to the greatness of the lipstick? Let's take a look...

Annabelle CC Cream Instant Perfecting Base- Luminous and Natural Finish

I've heard grumbling from some (non-beauty lovers, for the most part) that they just don't understand BB cream and that CC cream was something made up by 'the man' to sell more product. These are the type of conversations where I just bit my tongue. There is in fact a difference between BB cream and CC cream (as I'm sure you know) and CC cream is in fact it's own product.

While I've explored the world of traditional Asian BB creams, CC creams are harder to find. That said, I was really excited when I found out a North American CC cream was going to be released. Yay! Not only a North American brand, but a Canadian brand at that! Exciting times we're living in people. Exciting times.

Avon Skin So Soft Satin Glow- Daily Body Lotion, Flawless Legs Cream Lotion, Absolute Glow Gel and Body Scrub

I am a pale-idite. A sun hiding, SPF 65 wearing, sunglasses sporting, hang out in the shade pale-ington.
There. I said it. Unlike some, I am not ashamed of my paleness. I am what I am and what I am is pale.

That said I do understand those that long for a bit of a sun-kissed glow. It's undeniably sexy when done right, and well, we all know how bad it can look when done wrong (ie. that always attractive oompa loompa orange hue.) I've just never taken the plunge into the world of anything tan. Until now.

Over the past few weeks I've been experimenting with Avon Skin So Soft Satin Glow collection. There may still be snow on the ground, but it's never too early to get a little glow on, is it?

Vaseline Spray and Go Moisturizer- Cocoa Radiant

No witty intro for this one, ladies. I'm going to get right to it: I absolutely love this stuff! There. I got some of my initial excitement out of the way. Let's continue.

Instagram Love III

Stocking up on my favourite Stash Teas- their Early Gray is soo good! | Little sample of Sally Hansen Salon Effects polish strips | Broccoli & Bacon mac and cheese | a little Well.ca Haul

I had given up on instagram for a while- mainly because my phone wouldn't let me log in no matter what I did, but out of the blue, I tried it again and it worked! I usually realize after that fact that I should have instagram-ed something, but I'm going to try and get into the habit of instgram-ing blog life from 'behind the scenes' So, basically, it's a lot of nail polish...

Glossy Box Canada- 1st Anniversary Edition

To my surprise, I found a Glossy Box in my mail box! When I opened it up, I found the 1st Anniversary Glossy Box, all dressed in fancy birthday clothing and everything. I thought I show you a quick peek at what was inside. Let's take a look!

Acrylic Lipstick Storage

Lipsticks never used to be my 'thing.' I'd pick one up every now and then, but I didn't use them all that often. I'm not sure when that changed, but I realized I was beginning to stash it everywhere. I had a few in the top of a little drawer, a few in a cup, a bunch in an empty Glossy Box, a few in the bathroom. I they were getting out of hand. I decided that A) I needed to give my collection a bit of a sort through and B) I needed a better storage system.

I headed to my favourite place for acrylic storage- eBay! You never know what you'll find, but chances are you'll find something worth while- and boy did I....

Mary Kay Zen in Bloom Collection Nail Lacquer- Blue Lotus and Pink Bamboo

A few days ago, I shared the Mary Kay Zen in Bloom Lip Lacquers (here) so I thought I ought to follow up with the Nail Lacquers.

What better way to welcome Spring than with two new punchy polishes? Actually, I don't know about the current weather in the spot you call home, but where I am, it's looking less and less Spring-ish everyday. There was a thaw last week, the snow was disappearing and things were turning green, but now it's back to snow. More snow... I guess I can just pretend that it's spring when I look at my nails!

Mary Kay Zen in Bloom Collection Lip Lacquers- Chai Latte and Pink Pagoda

Last week I received a few new Mary Kay items including their new Zen in Bloom Collection for Spring 2013- I've broken it up, there's a bit too much to review it all togher. Once I got past how pretty the limited edition floral packaging was, I realized I was just itching to dig into these little pots. There is just something about a pot of gloss that makes my heart pitter-patter.

Want to take a looksy? Of course you do!

L'Oreal Caress Wet Shine Stain- Pink Resistance and Stubborn Plum

Oh, the dupe. Some may groan, but I kind of like seeing more budget friendly takes on big brand products. If someone can reproduce it (or something similar) why not give it a try?

When I first heard about L'Oreal Wet Shine Stains (which happen to be semi-dupes of YSL Glossy Stains) I was excited to see how they'd fare- even though I've yet to try the YSL version. A few weeks ago I picked up a couple and have really been enjoying them. So much so that I really want to try the YSL version... funny how things work, huh?

The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag

Happy Sunday, everyone! I've been hiding out, trying to keep my cold germs to myself- I'm finally starting to feel a bit better, but I thought I'd take a bit of time to catch up on my blogroll reads. I was having a hard time reading anything on my screen for a few days. The screen lighting was too bright, it irritated my eyes and then gave me a headache. You know when you feel terrible and everything you try to do to get your mind off of it makes you feel worse? It was like that. Luckily, that's passed.

What I'm getting at, is that I read a bunch of blogs, and discovered I'd been tagged. Aly of Wonderland Beauty (check her out if you're not already following her!) tagged me as part of the Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag. It seemed like a fun little post, so let's get to it!

The Times, They are a Changin...

I know, you've likely seen/read/heard everything I'm about to go over, but whatever.

It seems the braniacs running Google are sending Google Reader the way of the dodos (as of July 1st), which means Google Friend Connect will be rendered pretty much useless. What?! It seems like a really odd decision to me but what are you going to do?

So, what can you do to make sure you never miss a post from your favourite blogs- like mine (kidding, kind of...)

Essie Swatch Party- Fiji, A Crewed Interest, Van D' Go, Navigate Her, and Going Incognito

There are some really fun four letter words, but one that really tops the list is S A L E. There really is nothing about a sale that one can't love, especially when it's an Essie sale. A few weeks ago, Nail Polish Canada- you know they're my go-to polish source, had an Essie sale and I just had to take advantage. It's not everyday you can save $4 on a bottle.

Naturally, I had to swatch my new additions. Care to take a look? I know you do....

Avon Magix Cashmere Advanced Liquid Foundation

Guess what?! I'm sick! With a cold. I'm trying to be positive about it because, well... there really isn't much I can do about it, and I haven't had a cold in forever. It still kind of sucks though, but I did manage a rather productive day on the blog front. After a very long, and pretty spectacular nap, I got a ton of swatching done and finagled a post schedule- which I'll likely not stick to, but the fact that I made it should be worth something, right?

Up for review today, is an item I've been trialing for a few weeks: Avon Magix Cashmere Advanced Liquid Foundation. It's a very interesting product...

Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara

I love mascara, and I always get excited about new formulas and releases, but, when it comes to reviewing it... I get a bit nervous. As much as I love trying new mascaras, I find them really hard to review. On one hand, there's the fact that mascara is such a personal type of product. Take ten women, and you're going to be hard pressed to get them to agree on the best mascara. Everyone has different expectations and experiences. On the other hand, there's the fact that I find I'm usually all over the place when it comes to mascaras. One day I love such and such, but the next day I might hate it. I swear it's possible to have 'bad lash days' (you know, like a bad hair day.) They majorly suck.

Anyway, I've been using Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara for a couple of weeks and thought I was about ready to give my verdict.

It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush- Je Ne Sais Quoi

If I had to choose, and you really never know, it could come to that; I think I'd have to say that 'Je ne sais quoi' is my favourite French phrase. Translated as 'I don't know' it just has so many uses. You can literally use it say 'I don't know' but it's particularly useful to describe that something special that you just can't describe. The Je ne sais quoi.

Je ne sais quoi also happens to be the shade name of the It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush I'll be chatting about. You'd almost think I planned that segue...

Mary Kay Cream Eye Colour- New Shades

There was a time, when I avoided cream eyeshadows like the plaque. I just couldn't be bothered with another 'looks good when I apply it, but creases and fades ten minutes later' situation. Admit it, we've all been there, unfortunately. That said, I've tried so many great cream shadows the past while, that I now kind of get really excited when I see new ones; Like these Mary Kay Cream Eye Colours. Just looking at them in their little pots gave me the feeling that they were something special. They spoke to me...

So, maybe the whole speaking thing is just a side effect of too many years exposed to nail polish fumes, but these are pretty great, especially if you love taupe. Who doesn't love taupe?

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Metal Eyeshadow- Barely Branded

I told myself I didn't need it. I said "Self, you've got a bunch of neutral toned cream shadows, why do you need this one too?" Self didn't answer. Self just kept muttering "Want, want, want. Wait..." She paused. "Need, need, need..." Repeatedly. Self can be a bit of a bitch sometimes.

I let Self win this one. Barely Branded now has a home with the other Maybelline Colour Tattoo Metal Eyeshadows I review last week (Gold Rush and Electric Blue here.) You know what, though? I'm totally glad that I caved into Self. She was right, I did need this!

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil for Hair, Body and Face

O-I-L. For a long time that was a bad little word. You didn't want to add oil to your face or hair. Why on earth would you? It would only make your hair, well, oily, and clog your pores. A one way ticket to Breakout-ville. No thank you.

Buut, we all know there are some major benefits to oil, and it really isn't a bad word any more. The past few years the number of oil products has been on the rise and it's changed the perception of oil in our products. Honestly, there aren't a lot of oils that are staples in my routines (be it hair, body or face,) but I've done some major sampling of various products and have loved the results. The newest one to catch my eye is Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Miracle Oil for Hair, Body, and Face.

A multi-tasking product can never be a bad thing, can it?

The Biggest, Bestest Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe... Like, Ever!

Who doesn't like a big, crispy on the outside, chewy and gooey on the inside, cookie?

If you answered no to that than... well, I just can't trust you. You're plum crazy (She waves, thinking that it's sexy/ She must be plum crazy/I kinda think I like her...) KOL moment aside (seriously amazing song) you are just not my kind of person if you can't get behind a little cookie action every now and then.

Today I made a batch of the most classic type of cookie; Chocolate Chip. Fancier, more gourmet cookies can be fun too, but there is something so perfect about a classic chocolate chip cookie that can not be beat. Want to know my 'secret' (it's totally not secret, I'll share it with anyone willing to listen) recipe?

Stop Drop and Beauty Blog Hop no.1

Over the past few months, I've come to realize that I love blog hops! They're an excellent way to not only grow your own blog's visibility and readership, but they're also a great way to find new blogs.

The thing is, most of the hops I've been joining are all inclusive meaning any type of blog can join, which is awesome and I've discovered some really great blogs, but (you knew a but was coming didn't you?) I don't think I can follow another mommy blog. I don't have kids, and honestly don't think that I will have my own (at the very least not any time soon...)

So I thought that I'd start a hop of my own for beauty bloggers. I know not every beauty blog is 100% beauty, but as long as at least a portion of your blog is beauty related you're more than welcome to join in! Since this is the first week, and I didn't really plan ahead (is. spur of the moment hop) there are no co-hosts. If this takes off, I'll be accepting submissions for co-hosts, two each week.

Are you game for some hopping?

30 Day Music Challenge- Day 6,7 and 8

I thought that since I've gotten fairly up to date with beauty posts I'd catch up with the 30 day music challenge (here.) I figured it wouldn't hurt if I consolidated it a bit, so this post will feature Day 6: A song that reminds you of somewhere, Day 7: A song that reminds you of a certain event, and Day 8: A song you know all the words to.

Let's go!

Mark On the Dot Pastels Eye Colour Compact

Every Spring we see the pastel products creep into collections, and while I love pastel nails and pale lips, I tend to avoid pastel eye products. I'm getting the hang of managing blues, but still I'm iffy about pastel blues. Pinks can be tricky to pull off too. I'm not a huge fan of yellow. See where this is going? I can talk myself out of pastels pretty easily, even though they always look so darn appealing.

Keeping all that in mind, I was a bit apprehensive when I opened Mark's On the Dot Pastels palette. At the same time, the pretty dots of pastel, all cute and colourful did look awfully appealing. I braved my 'fears' and boldly entered the candy coloured pastel world. Want to see how I fared? Read on!

Demeter Fragrance Library- Rose, Vanilla Cake Batter, Devil's Food and Angel Food

I remember the exact day that I got my first issue of Seventeen magazine. I was Spring of 1996, a Wednesday to be exact. I remember it was a Wednesday because that was the day my parents got their pay cheques, and there were always errands and things to do after school. We had all gone for haircuts and then went to get groceries. We got haircuts in a neighboring town, so we weren't in our usual grocery store. I'd learned that there was something about being in a different store meant that my mom would usually say yes to just about anything I asked for. I'll never understand why it worked, as she usually stood her ground. Anyway, I decided that that was they day I would ask for Seventeen. It was a bold move, as I was only twelve. My dad instantly said no, on the grounds that such a title (Seventeen) implied one should be that age (or very near) to read it, but my mom said yes! Victory! It was a pivotal moment in my life as I clearly still remember the rambling events that lead to my procession of it (and the crimped hair style of the model on the cover... but that's another story.)

I know, you're wondering what my first copy of Seventeen has to do with Demeter. Well, that was how I first came to learn of the brand and instantly thought that it seemed all kinds of awesome. A brand that, at that time, wasn't entirely accessible in Canada, at least not in my small town. I kept Demeter stowed away in my archives, and years later actually got my hands on a few different scents. Victory pt.2! Today I've got a few more scents to explore. Care to read on?

CLOSED- MONSTER Giveaway!

Last week marked a very special moment for I Know all the Words; I hit 1000 followers!

When I first started this little blog, I had no idea what a beauty blog should be, I never even intended to be a beauty blogger- I could have picked a beauty related name... I had barely even read any beauty blogs, but I learned what to do (and what not to do) as I went along and found my groove eventually. I won't lie, it took me a while to get in the right groove, but it's been fun!

Of course, I have some people to thank. All of you! The followers, the daily readers, the commenters, without you this would be one pathetic little blog. I guess I also owe a bit of thanks to Tegan and Sara for writing 'You Wouldn't Like Me' as it's where I borrowed my blog name from: 'Sunshine is days away/ I won't be saved/ I KNOW ALL THE WORDS/ I can't say that I'll love you forever'

Anyway, I know what you're waiting for, so let's get to the goods, shall we?

NOTD: Misa 'Live Without Knowing'

A while ago, I posted a nail of the day featuring Misa 'Breakway' (here) from the Fall 2012 Wanderlust Collection. I knew I had another shade from that collection kicking around somewhere... somewhere being the operative word.

I recently stumbled upon this little guy and decided it was time to give it some lovin'. Let's take a look!
