Firmoo Review | Style #F027

There are certain things about blogging that I don't think I can ever get used to... surprise press samples are one- it's like Christmas!- and having the opportunity to review glasses being another. Glasses, how crazy amazing is that?!  I've worn glasses since I was nine. They're the last thing I touch before bed and the first thing I do in the morning. I've tried contacts. Once. Okay, for ten minutes. They just weren't me. So it should be clear my glasses are a pretty important part of me. They also happen to be a pretty damn expensive part of me. Enter Firmoo!

'These are the retro styled eyeglasses with square traditional nose bridges. Layered colors are applied in rims, making those extremely gorgeous. The arms are fixed with spring hinges for extra comfort.' -Firmoo

What makes Firmoo so perfect is the fact that they offer stylish frames at bargain prices- seriously, $39 for frames... how is that even possible? They have a wide selection and are consistently adding new styles and colours. For anyone a bit apprehensive about buying glasses online, don't be. I was at first, but the Firmoo team are prepared to help you through the process- you likely won't need them though. It is quite easy to maneuver through and there are explanations on the site for everything should you need them.

I've wanted to get coloured frames for a while- as much as I love tortoise, I needed something a bit different- and was over the moon to find these blue and purple Wayfarers. The whole of the glasses are a transparent purple save for the outer corners on, while the front section has bright blue section underneath. In the areas where the blue connects to the transparent purple you end up with a deep blue colour and an ombre look overall. They are pretty stunning to look at, but the colours aren't so bright that they become distracting.

The fit is great, especially for these having larger lenses. I find that the bridge fits well on my face and is styled to reduce slipping. I found the arms to be a little on the long side for me, but I'm sure I could have that adjusted at any optometrist/ vision center.

Overall, I am completely in love with these glasses! What do you think? Do you wear glasses? have you ever bought them online?
