My blush drawer is bursting at the seams. I had to really shuffle things around to fit this little gem in there, but I managed, and you know what? I'll manage to fit a few more in because the Make Up For Ever HD Blush formula is so fantastic I'ma need a few more. Read on for a peek of #310 Rosewood.

'Formulated with the perfect balance of oils, waxes, and powders, HD Blush combines the second-skin look of a cream with the ease of a powder. Created for HD technology, this formula blends into skin with no visible texture for a truly natural flush of color. It’s completely weightless and can be worn over or under powder to sculpt and highlight cheeks flawlessly.'

Where to start... This is blush so wonderfully formulated I don't even know where to start, so let's just jump in. This cream blush is unlike any other I've used as it still has a creamy texture, but applies to the skin differently than your average. While some sit on the skin and never really blend MUFE has created a formula that really does meld with skin to look seamless with a natural look and feel to match.

The formula is perfectly pigmented, as you can easily apply it but don't have to worry about over applying it when you dip a brush into it either. Now clown cheeks with this. Since we're kind of on the brush topic, this formula will work with any kind of brush. The idea of using a regular fluffy blush brush in a cream blush feels a little wrong, but it works with this formula and gives a natural, sheer flush that blends so easily. Of course, fingers work well too if that's your thing. I won't tell. I always start with a brush, but there is something about a cream blush that I always like to blend it in with my fingers too.

I have to apologize about my shockingly white eyes. I tried the eye brightener on Pic Monkey but didn't look too carefully at the results before saving- they are waaay too bright. But, you cans see the rosey flush this gives and the natural finish. Oh, right, the shade... I had a very hard time choosing a shade. The range currently has sixteen shades ranging from from light to deep in both cool and warm tones, and they're all gorgeous. There are quite a few shades I wouldn't mind having on hand, but for starters I chose #310 Rosewood, which is a rosey shade with a brown-nude tone. It's more red based than I expected it to be, but it gives cheeks a natural looking, healthy flush. Like you've been out frolicking in the snow. Well, maybe not snow. We've had enough of that. Out frolicking somewhere anyhow.

Overall, you really can't go wrong with this blush! Have you tried it yet? Are you a fan of cream blushes?
