I do my nails a lot. Partly because I like to change things but mostly because most polish only lasts 3-4 days on my nails. It can be annoying, but with so many brands offering at home gel polishes that claim to last up to two weeks it seems there could finally be a solution. For the past few weeks I've been testing Sally Hansen Gel Polish to see if it really could last two weeks. My results? Read on!
It's been a rainy dull day here, so it only seems appropriate to chat about some brighter Spring hued products, right? Mark. have been incredibly productive and released even more Spring themed goodies (see my other mark. Spring post here) including the mark. Blooming Pretty Highlighting Face Palette, Colour Swing Mix it up Eye Compact and Nail this Look Set. Read on!

I've been going around humming Lorde's Still Sane to myself because, well because today is my birthday and it's the one day of the year I can sing that and have it be true. Duh. Since it is my birthday, I thought it was only fitting that I review a little something I got for my birthday from my amazing mom. That something is an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light. Read on!
Today, well yesterday by now, was one fail of a day for me. I felt less than and in turn everything I attempted ended up being less than too. Just one of those days, you know? I had told myself I wouldn't even attempt blogging, but the Essence Bloom Me Up! Collection is just too cute. A quick little post wouldn't be too bad- how wrong could it go? If you're brave (kidding... maybe?), read on for a look at the Bloom Me Up! Mono Eyeshadows and Shimmer Powder.

Cuticles are something you don't really notice until it's too late. You look down one day, and they're looking decent, but the next day they're in shambles. I don't quite understand how cuticles can take such a drastic downturn so quickly, but they do.
Sure, a good nail and hand care routine can avoid such situations, but let's have an honest moment and admit that we don't always follow such routines to a tee all the time; now do we? DO we? No. That's why it's a good idea to have a blockbuster product waiting in the wings to snap your cuticles back into fighting form in as little time as possible. For me, that product has been CND Special Edition Solar Oil.

Yesterday, when I was planning what I would post today, I decided that since the weather was finally getting a bit warmer it was the perfect time to review the very Summer appropriate Beyonce Heat Rush. Of course, when I awoke this morning it was cold, rainy and grey. Boo. Of course there is the upside that after the rain comes the flowers and not far behind them are the hot, sunny days when I'll be reaching for this great little scent. Read on!
In case you didn't know, today, April 22nd, is Earth Day. To celebrate, Yves Rocher is plating one tree for every product purchased today whether it be an in-store purchase, phone, or online order. Since 2011 Yves Rocher has been able to plant 500, 000 trees through this initiative in addition to their Plant for the Planet Foundation that has planted 30 million trees worldwide since 2007, which plan on planting 50 million by 2015. That's a whole lot of trees. If you'd like to help them with their planting, but need a little help filling your basket, I've selected a few of my top Yves Rocher picks after the jump. Read on!

It's hard to believe now, but there was a time, not that long ago, when beauty subscription services were the new thing. One of the first to specialize in one specific product was Julep, as I'm sure everyone knows, that specialize in nail polish and nail care items. I've been a Maven- they call their subscribers Mavens- since the beginning, but haven't blogged about them for some time. Time to change that! Read on for a Maven overview and swatches of some It Girl shades.

I don't know about you, but I tend to get just a little bit too excited when The Body Shop adds a new scent to their body butter/ scrub line up. Especially when I got word the newest scent was going to raspberry. While I haven't had any raspberry body items as of late, it was my signature scent for a while. I even kept a pot of raspberry hand cream in my pencil case at school. It was mostly there for a boredom cure, but the scent was pretty amazing. Anyway, I was excited to see how The Body Shop would approach raspberry and I have to say they have outdone themselves with their limited-edition Early-Harvest Raspberry line. I've been all about matte nails lately. At first it was nothing bu pale, blush shades (like Nicole by OPI Sweet Surrender) but then a bit of pale yellow, and most recently mint. So, when I was deciding what to do with these cute little studs from Born Pretty Store it was obvious it would end up being minty and a bit matte too. Read on for a look!

My bank account prefers it if I stayed away from Sephora, and I try to, for the most part, but once or twice a year I go on a little (or large...) splurge. One of those splurges is always in April- gotta get my Beauty Insider Bday gift, obviously- but I was doubly gifted as there was also a sale. Can't be a sale! Read on to see everything I got!
Spring is on it's way... it might still be dull, grey and rainy, and there still might be patches of dirty snow but Spring is on it's way. The Beauty Blog Coalition is celebrating Spring- well, May Day if you want to get specific- with a pretty fantastic giveaway. Read on if you like cash!

Luxury beauty items can be a lot of fun, but sometimes your wallet needs a break, and honestly, there are some pretty amazing budget products. I've been testing a bunch of Essence products and have to say they are impressive little products. Eyeshadows can be a little iffy when you go budget, but Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadows are pretty impressive. Read on!

Do you ever get to the point where you think you've got enough of a product? Like, lip gloss... how many does one person really need? You decide you're going to hold off buying any; enjoy what you have because, hey, it's just lip gloss right? Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. There can and is something better and it's the Lancome Lip Lover. I seem to be all about impulsive fragrance buys lately. Every time I pop into Shoppers to pick up a parcel I end up with another perfume. Of course, it might be because I purposely go the long way around- which might happen to go through cosmetics.... Maybe? On one of my most recent trips I spotted a few bottles of Lolita Lempicka Eau de Toilette just waiting to be given a loving home. As a fan of L de Lolita Lempicka it only made sense to try this one too. Was I right? Read on for my verdict!

I think it's safe to say that every beauty fan loves two things- a new tube of lipstick and a cheap thrill. Both are equally excellent things on their own, but what happens if you get a bit crazy and combine the two? Essence did with their Longlasting Lipsticks and Glossy Lip Balm and I have to say, they did it well!
Hello internet world; I've missed you! Yesterday was a day of intermittent connectivity in my house. It has to be one of the most annoying things ever. I tried to get some things done, but I ended up just giving in and packing it up. I made up for it today though as I've been dealing with emails all day. Seriously, ALL DAY. I did take a few shopping breaks too... Laura Mercier on Haute Look was too good to pass up, a little raspberry loving from The Body Shop and I am seriously considering another Sephora order before the sale ends. So many products, so little time... But, back to the product you're here for- Arbonne It's a Long Story Mascara. The short story is that it's pretty amazing! Read on for the 411!

I keep tabs on nail art trends, but I tend to be slow to jump on the band wagon. Like caviar bead manis. They're cute and easy, I even bought a few of the MUA Constellations. I had good intentions but kept putting off using them and then forgot about them. Well, until Avon Sprinkle Nails found me. I decided it was time to finally give them a try. Read on!

Dear Blogger, Please stop messing with image quality. Thanks, Bailey.
I can't be the only one with issues? Rant over. It's hard to stay made when you've got a brand new- new to Canada anyhow- lip crayon. A really awesome lip crayon from Soap & Glory in the form of their Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Crayon. Read on!
It's not quite Spring here yet- there is a freezing rain warning currently in effect- but I'm playing oblivious and have been getting all Spring-y with my beauty and skincare. One change that I make come the warmer season, is upping my SPF factor. I wear it all year, but like to go for something higher than SPF 15-20 for Spring and Summer. It can be hard to find the right sunscreen for daily wear, especially if you want a higher SPF and don't want to break the bank, so I was pretty intrigued when I got wind of L'Oreal Sublime Sun Silky Sheer BB SPF 50 Face Lotion.

Today I get to do something I don't do all that often- post a negative review. Well, it's not completely negative, but it sure isn't all sunshine and rainbows. I know they need to be made from time to time- negative reviews that is- but I just don't like writing them. I end up feeling kind of bad for the product. In this case I feel kind of bad for my wallet too, because it's $50 some odd dollars that could have been spent elsewhere, but what can you do, right? Anyhow, enough stalling. On to the review.

Today I spent a little time with lip products. It was all about the lip products, and I've got to say, there are some pretty excellent lip products making their debut this season. One of which are the Mark All Butter Now Lip Treats. Read on!
