Mark All Butter Now Lip Treats | Baby Me & Coraltini

mark all butter now lip treat- baby me and coraltini (5)

Today I spent a little time with lip products. It was all about the lip products, and I've got to say, there are some pretty excellent lip products making their debut this season. One of which are the Mark All Butter Now Lip Treats. Read on!

Mark All Butter Now Lip Treats are hybrid products that combine the pigment of a lipstick, moisture of a balm and the shine of a gloss in one little tube. I quite like products like this because who can pass up a little added lip hydration? Exactly. These have a really balmy feel on lips and thanks to the shea, coconut and mango seed butter they're formulated with do give lips a lot of hydration- even when they're Sahara desert dry.

Apart from miniaturization, these provide a good dose of pigmentation and some shine. The texture is evident on lips, but still fairly light- these honestly feel the same as a balm on lips. I was expecting these to be creamier or more buttery feeling because of the name, but they don't have a whole lot of slip and feel most like a matter type lip balm.

These are housed in slim pink lipstick tubes with holographic print. I love the packaging! It's a nice change to have some colour and the holo flares all rainbow-y in the light. And, like all Mark lipsticks, the caps click on magnetically, giving you full security and no chance of a stray cap if these go rouge in your bag.

Baby Me is a light lavender-pink with frosty shimmer. I love the shade of this in the tube, but it's more frosty than I would like. This shade does give a bit of emphasis to natural lip lines and imperfections, which is quite annoying for this type of formula. You expect something marketed to treat dry lips would smooth over such things no make them more apparent. Also, the name *gags* I can't get behind "Baby Me". I give this shade a pass.

Coraltini isn't a coral, but a straight up orange. It's vivid, but not too bright, and unlike Baby Me applies smoothy and gives lips great colour and shine. The pigmentation is great with this shade, but you can wear less or more depending how vivid you want to go. This is a great Summer shade and will suit a ton of skin tones.

Overall, I like these. Coralitini is the winner of two I've tried as Baby Me is just too frosty. It's a shame because the colour is quite pretty otherwise. There are two other colours in the range-Bare All, a nude and Pop Tart, a fuchsia pink- which look they don't contain any shimmer or frost. Have you tried these? Thoughts?
