NOTD | Make My Mint Matte
I've been all about matte nails lately. At first it was nothing bu pale, blush shades (like Nicole by OPI Sweet Surrender) but then a bit of pale yellow, and most recently mint. So, when I was deciding what to do with these cute little studs from Born Pretty Store it was obvious it would end up being minty and a bit matte too. Read on for a look!
A pretty simple nail of the day, but I kind of just wanted a scattering of studs. The Born Pretty Store studs are available in a few different shade combos, but I went with #4 which has three shades of green- mint, grass, and an acid-yellow shade. The wheel includes four stud shapes- small circles, smaller squares and larger squares, and oblong leaf shapes. I wasn't really feeling the leaf shapes, so I stuck with the circles and squares. I used China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint and Julep Hope as an accent nail. I popped on some studs and topped it all off with Nicole by OPI Matte Top Coat. Quick and simple but totally fun and the matte effect gives it a softer feel and look.
What are you wearing on your nails?
