I've been a fan of Asian BB creams for some time, but I totally agree that the whole BB, CC and DD craze has become a bit much. Everything and anything seems to get the double letter labeling whether it is or isn't an actual BB, CC or DD- what is DD cream anyway? So, you can see why I might have rolled my eyes just a bit when I came across the EcoTools Skin Perfecting Brush as it's designed to be used with BB and CC creams. The verdict? Well, you're going to have to keep reading...

A 'Signature Scent' was something I was always seeking for. I love the idea of having one, particular scent that is 'my own'- in a way. The problem is I love fragrance and am always trying this and that and everything. It gets a little tough having a signature when you're always wearing something different. That said I do have a scent that gets top billing (this one) but it's got competition these days as See by Chloé has become a major favorite.

There seems to be a bit of a trend with my posts today- long-wearing makeup. Okay, Skindinavia The Makeup Primer Spray isn't makeup, but it is a pretty magical spray that helps prolong the wear time of your current favourites. Not too shabby, right?! Read on!
What happens on the day you plan on catching up with emails and blogging until your fingers fall off? You spend the bulk of the day with either slower than molasses internet connectivity or none at all. Let's just say I was a little miffed. But, let's get to something a bit more positive... Like the new Make Up For Ever Aqua Matic Glide-On Waterproof Eyeshadow.

Confession time: my nails have been naked for almost a week. Something that's quite unheard of for me, but I just didn't know what I felt like wearing and I knew I had a batch of new Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure shades waiting to be swatched. Up first are three of the six shades that make up the Pastels on Point Collection. Read on for a look!

I remember being younger, dealing with breakouts, and thinking at least I'll grow out of it... Yeah, you too? While I don't breakout the same way, I do still deal with with the odd blemish and full on breakout from time to time- just like 20-30% of all adults age 20-40. That said, having a few breakout banishing products on hand is pretty much essential. The newest in my arsenal come from Dermalogica Clear Start in the form of their Oil Clearing Matte Moisturizer and Breakout Clearing All Over Toner.

While today has been all gloom and rain, and rain, and more rain- like torrential downpour type rain- Summer is pretty much here. Okay, not quite officially, but the sunny days are upon us (yay!) Of course, you're going to want a sunny fragrance to see you through Summer, and Philosophy has just that with Sunshine Grace in the form of Firming Body Emulsion, because a double duty product is never a bad thing.

Happy Monday, blog fans! I had big plans for my weekend- organizing, blog planning etc...- but got swallowed up into an black (orange actually) hole. Season two of Orange is the New Black got the best of me I'm afraid. I tried just watching one or two episodes a day, you know, pace myself, but it just didn't happen- it's so good! I also started watching Sons of Anarchy, which I didn't think would be for me, but it's pretty good too and it might have taken a little chunk of my weekend too. That said, I was able to break myself away to bring you the very Summer ready, brights that are the new Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Eyeliner. Read on!

Confession time- when it comes to cleansing products I'm all about the smell. It's the first thing I do- okay, I niff pretty much every product- but what I'm getting it is I like things that smell good. Who doesn't though, really? When it comes to my shower gel and hand soap I have a pretty short list of wants- it has to smell good and not be drying. I've come to find brands that I like best and stick with them in this department, but I've got some new favourites from Dial in the form of their Frozen Yogurt Cooling Body Wash and Water Blossoms and Coconut Lime Verbena Deep Cleansing Moisturizing Hand Soaps.

When it comes to eye creams, I tend to be a little cheap. There, I said it. I don't tend to spend more than $25-30 on one; Mainly because I find when I factor in all of my other skincare products, I get what I need- which is mainly just hydration. That said, it can totally be fun to branch out and tread the waters of the higher end spectrum as well. I've been testing out an assortment of eye creams and serums for the past few months from the likes of Biotherm, Clarins, Chanel, Estée Lauder, Guerlain and Lise Watier- an eye cream dream team, if you will- and thought it was time to share my results. I have to say I'm not much of a car person, but, as you may know, I am a nail polish person, so I did perk up when I got the info about OPI's newest collection for Ford Mustang to celebrate it's 50 year anniversary. My dad was always amazed at my knack for remembering nail polish names, but I was always impressed at the fact that he knew the slightest differences in cars. Like the difference between a 1968 from a 1967. How do people do that? When I see a car, it's just a car... Well, it's either a cute car or an ugly car, but that's about it. Anyway, the collection consists of six shades, of which I have three. Read on for a peek at 50 Years of Style, Race Red, and Queen of the Road!

White is a complex colour. It can be visually stunning, but it's a bitch to keep fresh and bright. Like white nails. When they're freshly painted, they're a thing of glory, but a few days in, and they're a dingy mess. Basically anything white can suffer from such atrocities, including our teeth oh-the-horror! There are a ton of options to keep teeth pearly-white, but the one I've been testing is the Smile Brilliant LED Tooth Whitening System. Wondering how well it works? Read on for my before and after!

Girls with Curls... I know what you might be thinking 'Do you even have curly hair?' Well, yes I do, but you're right to question it because it's usually hiding. When left to its own devices, my hair does dry to be pretty curly, but my hair type is the type that needs a good brushing to not look crazy, but that brushing tends to kill the curls and leaves me with an overall wavy look. While I appreciate having some natural wave and bounce to my hair, there are times I wish I knew how to keep my curls a little more intact so I totally took the opportunity to try the Dippity-Do Girls with Curls range that is specifically formulated for wavy to curly haired ladies.
After a quick overview of my 'products to review' pile, I found a menagerie of new lip products. A few shades of this and that with some hits, and unfortunately some misses. Read on for a selection of lip glosses, stains, and lipstick from Avon, The Body Shop and Mark.

So, Wednesday is a bit of a late start to the week, but I'm back, and ready to blog. To kick things off, I thought it was only appropriate to start with some new Summer items from The Body Shop since the weather has finally gotten warmer (then hot, and then cold today...) What better way to beat the heat than with a little sorbet in the form of The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet and Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet.
