Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Eyeliner

Happy Monday, blog fans! I had big plans for my weekend- organizing, blog planning etc...- but got swallowed up into an black (orange actually) hole. Season two of Orange is the New Black got the best of me I'm afraid. I tried just watching one or two episodes a day, you know, pace myself, but it just didn't happen- it's so good! I also started watching Sons of Anarchy, which I didn't think would be for me, but it's pretty good too and it might have taken a little chunk of my weekend too. That said, I was able to break myself away to bring you the very Summer ready, brights that are the new Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Eyeliner. Read on!

Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Eyeliner*- Gold Metal, The Real Teal, Blue My Mind, and Hello Violet .11 fl. oz. $10 USD / $12 CAD

Available in four gorgeous shades- Gold Metal, The Real Teal, Blue My Mind and Hello Violet- Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Eyeliners pack a punch. All of the shades have a metallic element and apply quite easily thanks to the precision tip applicator. It's not a true brush, so you don't have the issue of rogue hairs or separating making things difficult. I did find it to be a little bit stiffer than I'd like, but it did work well to make a solid line. The eyeliner itself is pretty much perfect- it's completely opaque, doesn't skip during application and wears amazingly well all day without flaking or smudging. The only flaw- a small one at that- is that I found it didn't dry all that quickly, so you do need to keep your eyes closed a moment longer. .

For such great colour payoff (and bargain price) you really can't beat these! I thought the gold shade would be my favourite, but I've actually been all about The Real Teal which adds great pop to a neutral look. I also like to use a thin line of Blue My Mind with a black cat eye for a really simple but graphic look. Tried these? Want to try these? Thoughts? How do you use bright liners? Do share!
