The Body Shop Sorbets for Face & Body

So, Wednesday is a bit of a late start to the week, but I'm back, and ready to blog. To kick things off, I thought it was only appropriate to start with some new Summer items from The Body Shop since the weather has finally gotten warmer (then hot, and then cold today...) What better way to beat the heat than with a little sorbet in the form of The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet and Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet.

When the days are particularly hot and humid, the last thing anyone wants is a thick moisturizer that feels heavy on the skin- face or body. The Body Shop obviously agrees too as their Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet is super light and refreshing but also gives skin a great does of hydration. All too often, I find that lighter facial moisturizers don't give my skin enough hydration to use them all the time, but that's not an issue here. While the formula is light and cooling on skin, it also absorbs quickly and hydrates well thanks to shea butter and wheatgerm oil. The texture is similar to that of a gel-cream, as it's slightly creamy, but not a cream, and a bit gel like but not as fluid and wet as gels tend to be.

And since you don't want your body to get jealous, you've got The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet. The Body Sorbets are available in four fruity scents- mango, strawberry, satsuma and pink grapefruit and one floral- moringa. I have the grapefruit scent and it's pretty much amazing! Think of the scent of a freshly cut grapefruit- this is that in a tube. The texture is just like the face sorbet, in that it's light, refreshing and absorbs into skin quickly all while providing an excellent dose of hydration. Oh, and, for super hot days, you can pop these in the fridge before use for an extra dose of cooling.

Overall, I'm a fan of both of these products. I love that they're so light but still give my prone to being dry skin the hydration it needs. Tried either of these? Thoughts?
