While Canada Day is a day (or two) behind us it never hurts to give a little love to a Canadian product or two- three actually, but who's counting? The product happens to be the ah-mazingly scented- seriously, it's so good!- LaCoupe Orgnx Coconut & Macadamia Oil Collection featuring shampoo, conditioner and an intensive repair treatment (aka a mask.)

Shampoo and conditioner are staples of every bathroom- at least they should be- but few smell quite as good as the LaCoupe Orgnx Coconut & Macadamia Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. As you may have guessed, the scent is quite coco-nutty, but it's the freshest most realistic coconut scent with a hint of milky creaminess- think coconut milkshake!

Getting past the scent, these do perform very well. I find it hard to be disappointed by a shampoo- as long as my hair is clean, I'm usually pretty happy- but being that both the shampoo and conditioner are formulated without sulfates, parabens, gluten and are colour safe is even better. Formulated with a blend of organic coconut and macadamia oils, cocoa butter, and olive oils these work to smooth parched hair leaving it smooth and manageable. The shampoo has a light gel-like texture that has some slip- it has an almost oily texture- that cleanses hair well is light on lather (it is sulfate free, don't forget) but is easily distributed through hair. The conditioner has a light but creamy texture that leaves hair extremely soft and smooth. The formula rinses cleanly and easily and doesn't weight hair down.

I can always get behind a good hair mask, and the LaCoupe Orgnx Coconut & Macadamia Oil Intensive Repair Treatment is definitely a good one. The texture is a fair bit lighter than I expected- it's not a heavy feeling product- but it's creamy-gel like texture formulated with organic coconut, macadamia oils and soy bean extract to deeply condition and repair hair from within. The conditioner is applied to damp hair and only needs 3-5 minutes to work it's magic. I love that this adds hydration to my usually dry hair but doesn't weigh it down. It leaves hair softer, shinier and less frizzy AND infuses it with the amazing coconut scent.

Overall, I am a major fan of this range! I especially love the Intensive Repair Treatment as it's a mere $11 and works just as well as a much pricier mask. Also, the tall, slim bottles are major space savers in the shower, which is a total plus for all product junkies. Do you judge products by their scent? Tried these? Thoughts?
