I think today is going to be an all nail type of day- checks schedule again- It's definitely going to be an all nail day. I'm swimming in new polishes, and I totally don't mind. Up first are a selection of designer created shades from the Spring/Summer 2014 Runway Trends Collection from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure range. The limited edition collection is divided into three categories- Dark Illusions, Pastel Chic, and Havana Brights, meaning there is bound to be something for everyone. Read on!

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure- A Wink of Pink*

A Wink of Pink (Pastel Chic by Parabal Gurung) is a creamy off-white shade, with, as the name so nicely points out, a hint of a pink undertone. The finish also has a hint of pearlescence, but when you're not viewing the shade close up, it has the overall look of a cream finish. The formula is a bit thick, but applied well as it's very pigmented. Two coats.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure- Lady Lavender*

Lady Lavender (Pastel Chic by Parabal Gurung) is a mid-tone lavender with the same cream-pearl finish as A Wink of Pink, although the pearl is more visible in Lady Lavender. The formula thin, but very pigmented and applied in two coats. There is a teeny bit of brush stroke visible, but it's barely apparent when seen in person.

The Pastel Chic portion of this collection also features Mint Condition, a pale, yellow-green mint shade.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure- Mojito*

Mojitio (Havana Brights by Tracy Reese) is a whitened, Kelly Green type pastel shade. The colour is very similar to that of Pique Side from the CSM Pastels on Point Collection, but lacks the hidden shimmer. This shade has the perfect formula- two easy coats shown.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure- Batbano Blue*

Batabano Blue (Havana Brights by Tracy Reese) is a vivid, mid-tone blue shimmer. The shade is very similar to the existing CSM shade Blue My Mind (and might even be the exact same shade as my bottle is labled with both names...) Regardless, this is a gorgeous blue that seems to glow from within. Another great formulation- two coats.

The Havana Brights portion of this collection also features Carnival, a an intense coral cream.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure- A New Hue*

A New Hue (Dark Illusions by Rodarte) is a fairly standard red shade. The shade looked like it might lean a little bit coral, when in the bottle, but on the nail, it's mostly a vivid red. The formula was that of a crelly (cream + jelly) which had amazing pigmentation, but with a squishy transparency. While the shade did built nicely on the nail, I still needed four coats to completely cover visible nail line.

The Dark Illusion portion of this collection includes Cinnamon, a deep, reddy brown, and Clay a milk chocolate brown.

Overall, there are some really great shades here. My hands down favourite is A Wink of Pink as I love a bit of white polish for Summer, but the hint of pink and pearl finish make it softer looking, and much more wearable. Will you be looking for any of these shades?
