Sally Hansen has been keeping me busy with a plethora of new collections lately. I don't really mind though, because really, what polish addict can resist a few new Sally Hansens? The new Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sea Bloom Collection features eight Summery pastel shades reminiscent of sun bleached shades of a quaint little seaside town.

'Formulated
with Micro-Shine Complex to help strengthen manicures that last up to 7
days, Sally Hansen introduces the new limited edition Xtreme
Wear Sea Bloom collection, inspired by the
pretty pastels and muted hues found under the sea. This summer, there
will be a palette of eight on-trend oceanic shades to choose from:
Floaties, Kelp Yourself, Peach Babe, Pearl Up,
Teeny Bikini, Water Orchid, Wet Suit, and You’re Crabby.' -Sally Hansen
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sea Bloom Collection- Pearl Up*
Pearl Up is a dusty off-white cream. The formula is thin, and seems fairly sheer on the first coat, but it does build to completely opaque with three. I found that the formula accentuated minor ridges in my nails, so it's best applied over a ridge filling base. I love that the shade isn't chalky- none of the polishes in the collection are- but has a super shiny, almost jelly like finish.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sea Bloom Collection- Teeny Bikini*
Teeny Bikini is a muted banana yellow cream. I'm not the biggest yellow fan, but this is such a pretty happy colour! The formula was similar to Pearl Up in the fact that it applies best over a ridge filling base, but it only required two coats and didn't suffer from the uneven, patchy application that plaques most yellow polishes.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sea Bloom Collection- Kelp Yourself*
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sea Bloom Collection- Wet Suit*
Wet Suit is a pretty, vivid, yet pale blue with the same great formula as Kelp Yourself. Two coats.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sea Bloom Collection- You're Crabby*
You're Crabby is a muted dusty pink with a slight mauve undertone. I love pink shades like this as they tend to work with any skin tone and are just plain easy to wear. Great formula, two coats.
Overall, I have to say I love all of these shades and will be looking for the other three- Floaties, an orangey-peach, Peach Babe, a pinky-peach, and Water Orchid, a muted lavender. The collection is limited edition and only available at Wal-Mart. What do you think of these shades? Any you need?
