Ceramic Glaze Island Paradise Collection

ceramic glaze island paradise  (1)

Summer Brights! I have to admit I haven't worn many super bright shades this Summer, but the Ceramic Glaze Island Paradise Collection has got me feeling the super saturated, vivid hues. Colour lovers get ready...

Ceramic Glaze Island Paradise Collection- Lychee Cocktail*

Lychee Cocktail is a bright, light pink shimmer. Of the shades I have from this collection, most have shimmer which gives the shades an added glow. The formula is quite pigmented, but to get the most pop I applied these over white (OPI Alpine Snow) and applied top coat (Orly In a Snap) as all of the shades dry to a matte finish. Two coats.

Dragon Fruit is a vivid raspberry toned fuchsia shimmer. This shade is not as intensely bright as some of the other shades, and as such is a bit more wearable for most. The shade is quite something in person, and garnered gotten quite a few compliments when I wore it. I found that the formula of this shade dries incredibly fast- like while you're still applying it fast- so it's best to really load the brush to get it on the nail in as few strokes as possible. Two coats (over white, as mentioned above.)

Solar Radiance is an intensely bright, orange neon cream. This is not a shade for the shy, but even I, an non-orange lover, am impressed with this shade. Two coats.

Ceramic Glaze Island Paradise Collection- Moji-Toes*

Moji-Toes (love the name!) is a bright, lime green with shimmer. Cute shade, not exactly the most unique, but I love that it's not blindingly bright. Two coats.

The collection consists of seven shades- Solar Radiance, Shell Me About It (purple/orchid), Moji Toes, Lychee Cocktail, I'm On Island Time (peach), Exotic Dragon Fruit and Watermelon Cooler (teal.) Interestingly enough, the formula is infused with neon technology, that allows for nails to glow under UV making the shades pop. The collection is available in Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix stores for $10.99, 14ml. Are you a fan of bright shades? See any you love?
