While my mascara drawer just might be busting at the seams, I just had to add one more. You see, I've recently decided to test the waterproof mascara waters, as I find my lashes don't have as much curl as they once did, and waterproof formulas tend to keep curl better. There is little more annoying than curling your lashes to perfection only to have your mascara drag them back down. When I went to pick something out, I couldn't help but be drawn in by the adorable, big-eyed panda on the L'Oreal Miss Manga Voluminous Waterproof Mascara package, plus, I've heard good things. True things though? Read on to find out!

While nail polish is obviously close to my heart, how can you deny a little lovin' for your other bits- specifically your hands and body? If you didn't know, Spa Ritual is much more than just polish- they have a pretty extensive range of products. I've been using a few including Look Inside Indian Frankincense Body Lotion, Handprint Hand Serum and Moisture Balm. Read on!

You know those ads that crop into your Facebook feed; the ones that never seem to be of any interest to you, although given all of the personal data Facebook has you'd think they'd be able match you to an ad that might just be of interest... Anyway, you know the ads. I spotted one that was actually of interest- Nature Box is available in Canada! Aptly named Nature Box Canada, we Canadians can now get in on the healthy-snack centered subscription service, because you can't eat lipstick. Well, maybe you can, but you probably shouldn't. A little news before we get to today's post- I have a cold. Ugh. I didn't say it was exciting news, but it's been almost two years since my last cold and I honestly forgot how brutal they are. Secondly, and much more exciting, I hit 1000 blog posts! This post is technically 1005, but still, I can't believe I've sat down to write a post over 1000 times... crazy! But back on topic- one of my favourites at that- nail polish! I've been sampling a selection of Spa Ritual products, but thought it was only appropriate to start with the Spa Ritual Nail Lacquer. Now that school has been in session for a couple of weeks, it's likely you've got all of your essentials- books, pens, paper, schedule.... and all that fun school related paraphernalia. Since that is out of the way, let's get to the other essentials- the ones that fill your makeup bag! Okay, I have to admit, that makeup was never an essential for me in school, whether it be high school or post-secondary. While I loved it and was already collecting it, I didn't make it an everyday thing. Plus, let's face it, makeup can be expensive, even drugstore prices have gotten to be a little much, but there is an answer... Essence! Not only can you get quality products, but at $5 or less you can stock up and not break the bank. Read on for a look at a selection of perfect back to school products!

Every now and then something arrives for review that I just can't get excited about. It's not often, but it does happen. The Avon Anew Age Transforming 2-in-1 Compact Foundation was one of those products. It was the wrong shade- which makes foundations really hard to get a good gauge of- and just didn't interest me...at first. Persuaded by a sale, I popped my correct shade into an Avon order I was placing and gave this foundation a try. Annnd, you know what? I've been using it steady since! Read on for the 411.
Today has been a day of never ending emails. I seriously sat down two hours ago to get to this post, but thought I'd just pop into my email for a second, see what was going on, you know? And before I realized it two hours gone. Anyway, perhaps it's time to get to what you're actually here for the Rimmel. Rimmel has recently released a new range of eyeshadow palettes in the form of Glam'Eyes HD 5 Colour Eye Shadows. Read on for a look!

Nail trends come and go, but one that seems to be sticking is the textured trend. I happen to be pretty fond of it, especially the glittery, sugary textures. Avon has recently jumped on the texture train with their Stardust Nail Enamel, and while I was a bit apprehensive that these would be an overly textured, bumpy mess, they're actually pretty amazing! I have two OPI collections waiting for some blog time. Problem is, I didn't know which to post first. Obviously, Pink of Hearts won. It just seemed a little too early to get to Halloween polishes, no? Anyway...For the eight year, OPI is supporting breast cancer awareness with their limited Pink of Hearts duo including a new shade. Not only do you get to sport cute pink polish to support the cause in spirit, but OPI will also be donating to Susan B. Komen (in the US) and Rethink Breast Cancer (Canada). Read on for the a look at the two shades in this years' duo!

Who loves new skincare? Of course you do! Especially when it's a brand focused not only being budget friendly, but also on giving you skincare products free of all the ingredients you don't want, and is 95% natural. Sounds good right? Amie is just that. It also happens to be a British brand that's recently found a home in Canada at select Shoppers Drug Mart locations. I've been using a few products and have been quite impressed. As is often the case, MAC sets bloggers up to fail when it comes to their limited edition collections. By the time we get our items, it's almost pointless to post about them because they're already out of stock. But, you know what? I'm going to blog this anyway because it is still available on the Canadian site. My one purchase from the MAC X Marge purchase arrived Thursday, but it wasn't until today that I got the chance to open it- it's been one of those weeks. Anyway, read on for a look at Sideshow You Blush!

Who loves great hair products that smell even awsome-er?! Okay, that might not be a word, but anyone who's tried LaCoupe products knows they smell ah-mazing and perform quite well, all while being easy on your wallet. They've recently introduced two new conditioners to their Orgnx line up in the form of Coconut & Macadamia Oil Leave-in Conditioner and Moroccan Argan Oil Complex Intensive Repair Treatment. Okay, so the weather is still pretty much full on Summer, but as you likely know that doesn't stop Fall/Autumn collections from rolling out. I've been hankering for Fall polishes for some time- brights get old after a while- so I was pretty excited to see what brands had in store. China Glaze has brought us a twelve piece 'vintage railway travel' inspired collection. I was smitten with two shades- All Aboard and Choo-Choo Choose You. Read on for a peek!

How has it been a whole week since my last post? Last week was a bit crazy and that craziness has seeped into this week as well, as craziness tends to do. But, so is life. Anyway in the craziness that was my week (how many times can I use the word craziness in one paragraph?) I did sneak some new Lush hair products into my routine in the form of Lush Roots Hair Treatment and No Drought Dry Shampoo and have been having some seriously great hair days as a result!
