Calvin Klein Reveal Eau de Parfum

Be very happy this post has photos. I have spent the last hour fighting flickr to get them to upload. That little 'uploading timed out' thing is so unholy, especially when it waits to pop right at the last stage of publishing. But, since you're reading this, I can quit complaining and get on to this gorgeous scent- Calvin Klein Reveal. Read on!

'REVEAL defines a new olfactive category: the solar oriental. A second-skin scent characterized by unexpected raw salt, luminous flowers, and warm woods, the fragrance hints at a play between relaxed sensuality and an undercurrent of addictive allure.'

I think it's a pretty well known fact by now that Calvin Klein knows how to create a great fragrance, yes? Well, he's done it again with Reveal. With notes of Raw Salt Signature, Pink Pepper, Black Pepper, White Pepper, Oris, Ambergris, Solar Accord, Sandalwood, Musk, Cashmeran, you get a very sexy, yet super wearable scent. It's one of those scents where each note works together to become something special, but so congruous that individual notes are hard to detect- at least my nose has difficulty. The woody, muskiness of the scent gives this some masculinity, but there is also a sweetness that gives balance and makes is an unmistakably feminine scent.

While it's not a heavy scent, it definitely has lasting power and a nice sillage. I find this lasts all day on me- even longer if prayed onto clothing- and is a scent easily picked up by those near you, but is far from overpowering. The overall scent has a warmth that makes it perfect for the cooler, autumn/winter season. I didn't expect to love this scent as much as I do, so it's definitely one to test if possible. Tried it? Thoughts?
