Oooh, new blush! There is just something so satisfying about dipping into a new blush... You know it. My most recent moment of blush bliss was with the new Lise Watier Blush Fondant Suprême- cousin to their Rouge Fondant Suprême lipsticks if you were wondering why that name seemed familiar. Read on!

Like the lipstick of a similar name, the Blush Fondant Suprême formula contains Labrador Tea Extract. Labrador Tea is hailed as being the most powerful antioxidant, and as a key ingredient in this blush, works to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while protecting skin. How many blushes can say that?

Much like the Rouge Fondant Suprême lipsticks, the Blush Fondant Suprême have an amazing texture. The cream to powder formula is silky and smooth feeling, and transforms into a long-wearing powder on skin. While I find many cream to powder blushes to be just that little bit too dry on my prone to being dry skin- I don't need my blush to emphasize dryness thanks- this has a soft dry down that blends onto skin with ease. The texture reminds me a bit of the Clarins Multi-Blush Cream, but the Blush Fondant formula says creamier until set on skin. That said, much like the Clarins cream blush, the Rouge Fondants apply best with fingers. While I normally apply blush with a brush, this has the sort of texture that seems to work best sans brush as fingeers work perfectly to apply and blend.

The finish is incredibly natural, as the matte finish mimics the look of naturally healthy, glowing skin. Of the six shades available, I have Naturel, a pinky-peach shade gives skin a natural flush. The shade is one that should work for almost every skin tone from pale to deep as it's perfectly neutral and doesn't veer too pink or too orange.

Overall, this is an incredible blush. I love that the finish is so natural and it's a shade that goes with anything. Are you a fan of cream blushes? Tried these? Thoughts?
