Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss

Lip gloss was one of my first beauty loves, so I can't help but get a bit excited when it comes to new formulas. While the Mary Kay NouriShine Plus isn't exactly new (it is to me though) they've recently added seven new shades to the range. Even if you're not the biggest lip gloss fan, this could be the gloss to change your mind. They're that good- read on!

All lip glosses are certainly not created equally, but Mary Kay has done this so right! The formula seems a little thick when you first pull the doe foot applicator from the tube, but the formula not only gives the perfect amount of glossy shine, but it also feels incredible on lips. The gloss lacks any kind of sticky or tackiness, but has a creamy, balminess that just feels right. It feels good, and it does good as it's formulated to provide an instant moisture boost thanks to aloe leaf extract (softens and calms skin), pomegranate sterols (strengthens skin barriers) and an antioxidant rich complex, which includes all kinds of good for skin ingredients like vitamin E and C. What it all means is, these make lip feel as amazing as they make them look.

Silver Moon is essentially a clear gloss with some shimmer. In the tube it has an amazing silver, purple, green, and pink duo-chrome like action going on, but it doesn't transfer as such on the lips.

Golden is a semi-sheer gloss, but is packed to the brim with fine golden shimmer. It's incredible, and I'm not always the biggest fan of really shimmery glosses. The shimmer is refined and catches the light beautifully.

Sun Blossoms is a light, milky, peachy-pink with no shimmer. I'm kind of obsessed with this shade as it's just so perfect and wears amazingly well and goes with everything. A must have shade!

Shock Tart is a vivid, almost fuchsia pink with light silvery glitter. A great pink for a pop of colour without being too over the top.

Pink Wink is rosey pink packed with fine silver and tonal shimmer.

Sparkle Berry is a raspberry-red with light shimmer. The shade is pretty similar to Pink Wink once on the lips, but has much less shimmer and is more red in tone.

Berry Dazzle is a deep, plummy, red with a fair amount of shimmer (it seems to be camera shy.) This is a really great deep gloss as it applies very evenly and wears quite well without fading oddly.

Overall, I've become a major fan of these glosses! The formula is perfect and there is a shade and finish for every kind of gloss fan. Tried them? Want to? What's your favourite gloss?
