Clarins Everlasting Foundation +

Clarins everlasting foundation + SPF 15- 102.5 Porcelain (4)

I've been a lazy blogger today. I initially gave myself permission to skip today's post as long as I edit my photos for tomorrow, but if I skip a post I'll throw off my entire schedule. Plus, it's not fair to the product up for discussion today- Clarins Everlasting Foundation +, a 'new generation' formula that offers 18 hour wear for perfect skin no matter what the condition. Intrigued? Read on!

Clarins Everlasting Foundation + may sound a little bit familiar to you, and for good reason, as it's a new formulation of the existing Clarins Everlasting Foundation SPF 15. While both contain SPF 15, Everlasting + touts impressive sounding claims like 18 hour wear and perfect skin and ideal hold whatever the circumstances. Who doesn't want that in their foundation roster?! Now, I've worn this a bit, but none of my wearings have lasted up to 18 hours. Twelve or so yes, so I'm going to based on twelve hours. The fast verdict? This is mot definitely a long-wearing formula. My foundation looked almost as good as it did when I took it off as it did when I put it on. I say almost because I did have a little bit of dryness creep up around my mouth and nose. Otherwise, things were looking perfected, even, and naturally matte.

The formula contains bamboo powder and a 'High Fidelity System+' to mattify and offer a long-wearing finish that stands up to any condition. I don't tend to get along well with long-wearing, matte foundations as my skin tends to be drier most of the time, but this foundation applies incredibly easy and doesn't have a typical matte look or feel. It's matte, but a natural 'skin like' matte that doesn't look flat and lifeless. As mentioned, I did experience a little dryness creep through by the end of the day but only in my driest ares. The formula contains organic quinoa extract which works to keep skin supple and moisturized.

In terms of coverage, this is fairly full, but with a light feel and look. That sounds odd, fuller coverage, but with a light look, but that's exactly what you get. The foundation covers imperfections, redness, and blemishes but retains the natural look of your skin, so you don't look like you're wearing a foundation mask. I found you really don't need much either- one pump is enough for my entire face. You do have to work it in a little quickly though as its quite hard to blend once it begins to set.

Ovrall, this is an excellent foundation, especially if you need a little extra coverage but don't want anything heavy looking or feeling. While I usually only have a touch of oiliness by the end of the day, I had absolutely nothing when wearing this, so this will make an excellent warm weather foundation- plus it's long-wearing, so it won't melt off your face! Have you tried this? Does it sound like your type of foundation?
