Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Collection

I got off to such a productive start this morning, but when I sat down to write this (hours ago...) I just couldn't get my blog mojo flowing. It up and left me, so this is going to be a rather bland intro. Luckily, the Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Collection is pretty enough that it kind of speaks for itself. I have two items from the four piece collection, so read on for a closer look at Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Lip Gloss Trio and Gel Eyeliner.

First off, how perfectly Summery is the holographic, seashell themed packaging?! Well done, Elizabeth. Onto what lies inside... Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Lip Gloss Trio combines three glosses in hues reflective of a Summer sunset- pink, coral, and berry. The gloss is housed in a squeezey tube- also adorned with seashells- and a slanted, plastic applicator. The formula is comfortable on lips, with a sheer, but visible colour and light shimmer, and a sweet vanilla scent. I found the texture to be only slightly tacky, but it does get slightly more tacky was wear time progresses, but never crosses the line into too-tacky town. The formula contains mango and shea butter to protect and moisturize and Maxi-Lip which promotes natural collagen for fuller looking lips. I found the formula did leave my lips lightly moisturized and comfortable throughout wear.

For eyes, the Sunkissed Perl Collections includes Cream Eyeshadow Stylos in opalescent shades of blue, bronze, and light pink and Sunkissed Pearls Gel Eyeliner in Deep Sea Pearl a deep inky black. I've been on a gel liner kick since this arrived, because the formula is just so perfect! The deep, black shade doesn't have any iridescence or shimmer- which I expected based on the name- but is a deeply pigmented, jet black. The liner glides on with ease- it's crazy smooth!- and is easy to manipulate for the perfect feline flick. I found tis applies quite well with the mini brush included, but the tiny little handle did make it slightly awkward- a full size brush does make things that much easier. The formula is enriched with avocado, olive, and jojoba oils to smooth and soften skin throughout wear, along with sunflower oil and vitamin e to help protect skin from environmental stressors that can lead to signs of aging. Now, I don't know if you should be counting on your eyeliner for anti-aging needs, but it's a nice addition otherwise.

Overall, I am a major fan of the Gel Eyeliner! The liner stays put ALL DAY and doesn't smudge, flake or transfer and retains it's deep, dark shade. The glosses aren't shabby either, but for me, the liner takes the cake. What do you think of the collection? Tried anything here? Thoughts?
