The Fast Five | Pretty Polish Picks for Spring

the fast five- pretty polish picks for spring (2)

I love blogging, but every now and then I need to take a moment out from the constant consumption. Obviously it's fun to haul a few new beauty goodies from time to time, but sometimes I feel like I'm always focused on what the next new thing is and I lose sight of products I already own (and that there are quite a few of them... ) That's how my new 'series', if you will, came to be. The Fast Five will feature five somethings (polishes, blushes, lipsticks, you get the idea) that might not be brand spanking new, but deserve some love. The first installment brings us five Pretty Polish Picks for Spring and the best part is, they might be shades you already have in your collection!

I've been feeling paler, pastel, and feminine shades lately, which happen to be perfect for the season and a nice way to transition into the bold brights that will ultimately be what I'm reaching for come sunnier days.

Orly Pure Porcelain
Pure Porcelain is a feminine take on pale nude as it's more pink base. The best way to describe it is a mix of pale pink an a pale almond cream.

Zoya Rue
I won't lie, I reach for Rue pretty frequently as it works as a neutral, but is more interesting than nude. Its blush meets mauve shade also has a great formula that applies in two east cats.

Essie Nice s Nice
A light lavender is undeniably Spring. Nice is Nice is one o f my favorite light purples as the formula is so smooth and easy to apply in two coats- no streaking or chalkiness.

Nicole by OPI I'll Have the Salmon
I'll have the Salmon is the newest shade here (released as part of the 2015 additions to the NOPI core lineup.) The peachy pastel shade features very light micro-shimmer and gives tips a sunny pop of colour.

A England Her Rose Adiago
Her Rose Adiago is quite possibly the most classy way to sport holo polish- it's the one holo you could totally get away with at the office.  The soft, faded rose shade is home to silvery, scattered holo that is all kinds of gorgeous. Plus, it's practically a one-coater!

Do you change up your polish shades depending on the season? What shades have you been loving for Spring?
