Another nail polish post! I know not everyone is a nail fan, but it seems to be polish season for me as I have been swatching a ton of it lately- which is never a bad thing in my book. Today I've got two new additions to the Formula X family with two shades from the Technicolour Silks Collection and Transformers Top Coats. Read on!

The Formula X Technicolour Silks range includes seven polishes that combine bright iridescent shades with a demi-matte, silk-like finish.

Fantasy is a vivid, raspberry-fuchsia with a soft, almost metallic iridescence, that stayed quite shiny. The formula was a bit thin on the first coat, but built easily. Two coats.

Groovy is a warm, orange-red with a soft iridescent glow. I found the glow to be more apparent in the bottle than on the nail, and less intense than Fantasy. However, the demi-matte finish did develop, which gives softness to the overall look. Two coats.

Formula X Transformers Top Coat Down to Earth* (over Essie Picked Perfect*)

The Transformers Top Coat range features a bunch of indie-style glitter toppers for every taste. I'm quite impressed by the selection and am loving the solid colour confetti/glitter shades. Like Down to Earth, which is has beige-nude hexes and glitter in a clear base. Call it boring, but there is just something about nude glitter that I love. The formula was great, as I didn't find there was any need to fish for pieces, and there was ample glitter to polish. One coat dabbed over Essie Picked Perfect.

Formula X Transformers Top Coat Frenzy* (over Yves Rocher Aqua Blue*)

Frenzy has the same hex confetti and glitter in a clear base but in fuchsia. If you're thinking this looks familiar, it's because of OPI On Pinks & Needles. They are indeed similar, but OP&N is hot pink, where Frenzy is much more plummy in tone. One coat over Yves Rocher Aqua blue.

Down to Earth and Frenzy are both new to the Transformers range (which totally has me humming this classic 90's jam), and limited edition, so snap them up now if they just need to be yours.

Overall, some great shades! I'm really into the solid glitters/confetti toppers from the Transformers range, as they're such an easy way to change up any polish- how great does Frenzy look over pale blue?! Like any of these polishes? What's on your nails?
