Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Nourishing Cleansing Oil

Jurlique purely age defying nourishing cleansing oil (4)

I love discovering new skincare products, but lately I've been particularly fond of micellar water (I'm on a one woman mission to try them all) serums, and cleansing oils. Cleansing oils are miraculous multi-taskers as they melt away face and eye makeup, gently cleanse, and do so without being stripping. The thing is, they aren't all created equally- an oily film is never fun. I've been using the new Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Nourishing Cleansing Oil and it's.... Well, you'll just have to read on to find out!

All kinds of fabulous! You'd probably like a bit more info though, yeah? Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Nourishing Cleansing Oil is that much more unique than other cleansing oils as it incorporates anti-aging ingredients- like birch, black elder, and licorice- to nourish sin while taking the day off.

The formula uses a combination of five botanical oils- castor, sunflower, blackcurrant, sesame, and meadowfoam- that together, create a light texture cleanser that transforms into a lovely, milky emulsion when you add water. I am normally a fan of a double cleanse when I remove my makeup, but I have to say, this removes makeup and cleanses so well, I find myself skipping the second cleanse. I usually go over my eyes with a little micellar after I use a cleansing oil, just to make sure I've gotten rid of every last bit of makeup, and was incredibly impressed at how little product was left after using this cleanser.

After cleansing skin feels incredibly clean, smooth, completely comfortable, and lightly hydrated, but without any tell-tale oil residue or film. I love how easily the oil is to rinse off, as it's light and leaves no residue, I didn't find I felt like I had to vigorously rinse.

Overall, I really love this cleansing oil! It removes makeup like a pro and leaves skin feeling pretty incredible. The soft herbal/floral and licorice scent was something I wasn't sure I liked, but it's a scent that I adapted to easily, and now kind of love. Are you a cleansing oil fan? Tried this (or want to?)
