Coca-Cola x OPI Two to Celebrate Duo | Icons of Happiness Collection

coca cola x opi two to celebrate set (2)
::: press sample :::

Two OPI posts in one week? Could it be? It can, and is. Mainly because I haven't taken any more pictures this week (blogger fail) but also because nail polish. I know not everyone love it as much as I do, but, nail polish. OPI is back in collaboration with Coca-Cola to bring us the Icons of Happiness Collection. The collection consists of most of the shades from the last Coke collab (all but Today I Accomplished Zero and Orange You Fantastic! are back) but with two new additions. The new shades- Visions of Georgia Green and Centennial Celebration- are available in a cute little set to celebrate the 100th Anniversary og the classic Coca-Cola bottle. Read on for a look at the Coca-Cola x OPI Two to Celebrate Duo (and swatches, obviously!)

Visions of Georgia Green is a sparkling, pearly green with a silver and purple shift with tonal shimmer. The shade is inspired by now classic Coca-Cola bottle created the Glass Root Company in 1951. Like that classic green glass/bottle, this polish shifts hue in the light and takes in lighter and deeper green shades. The formula is quite thin, but flows nicely and surprisingly, only needs two coats for full opacity.

Centennial Celebration is what OPI calls it a 'shimmering pewter' but it reads more silver to me (if we're going to be picky.) OPI does silvers really well, and this one definitely follows suit, albeit it's not the most unique shade. The sparkling foil-like formula applies easily in two coats.

Overall, these are nice shades. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like Visions of Georgia Green once on the nail. Centennial Celebration is a great shade, but OPI collectors likely have at least one similar silver in their collection. These polishes will be available individually for $9.50 USD / $11.50 CAD or specially priced in the Two to Celebrate Duo (although, I'm not certain as to what that price is.) What do you think of these shades? Will you be adding wither to your collection?
