Avon Beyond Colour Lipstick SPF 15

avon beyond colour lipstick spf 15 (2) ::: press sample :::

New lipstick and a super cute lip print makeup bag? Yup! I've always been a fan of Avon lipstick, so I was totally into trying the new Avon Beyond Colour Lipstick SPF 15. While lipstick is a mood booster in and of itself, but include a cute makeup bag in the mix and how can you not be a little happier? Read on for a peek at the Avon Kisses Makeup Bag and swatches of Avon Beyond Colour Lipstick SPF 15.

Of the various lipstick ranges Avon has, I can't say that I've ever used the original Beyond Colour formula, so I can't give a comparison. I can say that the newly reformulated Beyond Colour Lipstick is an excellent lipstick option if you like light feeling , balmy formulas, and can appreciate the addition of SPF 15. The new formula includes jojoba oil, caffeine, pomegranate extract, and retinol and collagen to give lips a fuller, smother, plumped look while being hydrating and so easy to wear.

I really like this formula, as it does feel hydrating and is super easy to throw on. The colour has a sort of gel like texture, as oppose to a cream, that melds with lips. I find the formula does makes lips look smoother but I really haven't noticed much in terms of fullness or a more plump look. The finish is supposed to be satin, but I do find there to be bit more shine than I expect from a typical satin finish. The wear time, for me, is the lower side of average, with colour beginning to fade after two hours.

In the Buff is a soft chocolate milk nude with a hint of pink. The colour is a great nude as it's fairly neutral and should work on most skin tones.

Heat Wave is a vivid coral pink. The pink makes this coral much more easy to pull off if you don't do so well with truer orange based corals. I think this is a great shade if you want to extend your summer shades into fall as it's not super vibrant, but still packs a punch.

Bitten is a purple-fuchsia that is all kinds of gorgeous! I love that this is more purple take on your average fuchsia and has a boldness without being super bright. It's a great trial shade if you're unsure of purple lipstick. I found this shade did stain lips as it wore off.

Overall, I really like these! Unfortunately, they still have the typical Avon scent (an artificial fruity concoction) but the upside is that it doesn't linger around. Lurking in most of the photos, is the Avon Kisses Makeup Bag. The black polyester bag has a super cute fuchsia lip print. The bag is a great size as it's compact, but will still hold quite a lot of stuff and the zipper opens widely for full access. I plan on using it for my drawing pens and markers. Are you an Avon lipstick fan? Tried these? Thoughts?
