No time for chatter today, I'm afraid. I have a very lengthy to-do list and I really don't know if it will possible to get it all done. If I keep thinking about it I'm going to stress myself out more, so let's not think about it and talk about Stila. Yay, Stila! Specifically, I'm going to chat up the Stila Eternal Love Liquid Lipstick Set. There might also be a few other Stila goodies... Maybe. Read on to find out.

I have to play Debbie Downer, as I think this set is sold out, like everywhere. I just got it two days ago, so be mad at all the beauty fans who snapped it up. I'm featuring it anyway, as I didn't check availability first, and the shades are availability in full size tubes.

The Eternal Love Liquid Lipstick Set features three mini tubes of Stila's popular Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks in Baci, Beso, and Ricco. Baci and Ricco are new shades that will launch with Spring 2016 while Beso is an existing shade. We'll get back to colours in just a moment though.

I enjoy a matte lip, and was excited to see how the Stila formula would fare. I can happily report that these boast a really easy to wear matte formula. The lipstick has a creamy, mousse like texture that dries down, but doesn't completely dry out. While It doesn't add much moisture to lips, it doesn't dry them out and stays really comfortable on lips and lasts for the better part of the day. The darker shades do transfer a little bit, but the colour wears very nicely and doesn't flake or wear away oddly.

I am loving the shades that were selected for this set! Baci is a dusty rose meets taupe type of nude that is pretty, but that little bit different than your average. Beso is a classic, true red that has the perfect amount of depth. Ricco is an oxblood-type brown, that is deep and dark, and all kinds of sexy. It looks more red/plum in the tube but does pull more brown on lips. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it's really gorgeous and works well for a quick liner (black, obviously), lashes, and lipstick look.

I don't think of lash primers all that often... Mainly because there aren't a lot of them and because they don't always do much. With that I didn't have high expectations for Stila Lash Stunner Extreme Primer, but I was totally wrong. It's kind of perfect! The brown tinted primer is filled with spherical and straight fibres to deliver added volume and length. When you add your mascara over it,  lashes still look good (aka not clumpy, spidery, or weird) but have a lot more oomph and pop. I love that the primer is brown and not white, as the brown is much easier to cover with mascara. If you're a more is more fan (aka you want all the length and volume) this is a must have.

I don't always reach for bronzer in the winter months, but the Stay All Day Bronzer for Face & Body is a good option for bronzing and contouring. The medium shade is matte and neither too warm or cool, so it will suit the majority of skintones in the pale through to medium spectrum. I appreciate that the formula isn't super pigmented, but buildable, so you can easily add more if you need it. The powder is silky and smooth and blends incredibly on skin without being patchy or obvious.

A great mate for the bronzer is the Wonder Brush for Face & Body. The handle-less brush (it's basically just brush and ferrule) is custom shaped for sculpting the face and buffing and blending powders, liquids, and creams. The bristles are super soft and the shape is perfect for applying contour. I'm not the biggest contour gal, but this brush makes application pretty fool-proof as it just fits so nicely on the face.

Overall, some really great products from Stila. I'm a new fan of the liquid lipsticks and see more shades in my future, plus the lash primer is all kinds of great. Are you a fan of any Stila products? Tried any of these?
