I can't say I'm a fan of Fifty Shades of Grey- I read a few chapters of the book but lost interest pretty quickly. It wasn't the subject matter, I say read whatever you want, I just couldn't handle the characters or the writing style. The only real interest I've had in the whole Fifty Shades phenomenon so far has been the cosmetic cross overs it's spawned, like the incredible Make Up For Ever Give in to Me Makeup Kit. Whether you're a die hard Fifty Shades fan or not, you're likely going to swoon for this collection of MUFE goodies. Read on for a closer look!

Who loves mini reviews? Sometimes a full review just isn't necessary- why milk it when a few sentences do the job? While I find it takes me longer to write up a bunch of mini reviews, I feel quite accomplished once the post is up, and my to blog pile is often a lot lighter too. With that said, let's get to it!

Philosophy, why you gotta go around changing the names of things? While putting this post together I've realized Philosophy has changed their Micro Exfoliating range to the Microdelivery. Of course all of my bottles have the older name... Oh well, the contents are that same and they still do amazing things for your skin- especially if you're prone to dull, lifeless skin in need of some brightening. Read on and see how Philosophy can get you your best skin (ever!?)

Has there ever been a drugstore neutral palette that's generated as much buzz as Maybellines The Nudes? Actually, I'm hard pressed to think of any other neutral palettes one can even get a the drugstore, so I guess that's why it's been so popular. With the rise in everything neutral, it only makes sense that a lower priced option would emerge, but the question is- is it worth the space in your makeup bag? Read on for my thoughts.

January is coming to a close, so you know what that means... Actually, maybe you don't- Valentine's Day is lurking. The day can be rather polarizing, but I say your best Valentine is yourself should you be lacking one. Who love you more than you? That said, if you're needing a little gift inspiration to pass on to a significant other, or want to treat yourself to a little something, look no further than Arbonne.
Who couldn't use an extra $160? Just think of all the things you could do, if you had a little money... Sorry, got a little Abba-ed away there. I've teamed up with a bunch of lovely bloggers- under the leadership of Nancy from Spiffy Kerms- who have pooled pennies for this awesome giveaway. I suspect you really don't care about any of this, you just want to get in on that sweet, sweet, free, cash so read on for full details on how to enter.

What better way to end the week than with a little colour (and eyeshadow!) There wasn't much on the schedule this week- colour that is- but these Mary Kay Mineral Eye Colour Quads are little pans of cute that kind of make up for it. Read on for a look!

The subjects of today's post have been a long time coming, but the thing is I loved them so much I kind of forgot about the whole share them with the world thing. Does that ever happen to anyone else? I went from the initial testing phase right on to the daily use phase and skipped over the review. So, let's make up for that and get to two incredible products- Clarins Skin Illusion Natural Radiance Light Reflecting Foundation SPF 10 and Clarins Instant Concealer.

Every blogger knows skincare is one of those products that takes time to fully test and review, but for me, I need just as much time with hair products. I've never been one to use many products and honestly, get a bit overwhelmed when it comes to mixing and matching hair products- I tend to fear I'll use the wrong products and end up an oily, stringy mess. With that said, I've ended up with quite a few hair products finally ready for review. Quite a few seems to have turned into quite a lot, so grab a snack and settle in for a full on hair care extravaganza This, That, & Other Stuff style!

It's been a bit since the last subscription box made an appearance around these parts, but recently I had the opportunity to try an Indulge Me Box. Indulge Me Box is a Canadian subscription service (based out of Montreal) that offers a selection of skin care, makeup, accessories and surprise gifts from local and artisan brands. Want a closer look at what I got in the January New Year 2015 box? Read on!

Much like my skin, my hair tends to be on the drier side. It's not the most terrible of hair conditions to have, but finding a shampoo that cleans well- I have no tolerance for dirty hair- but doesn't strip it AND a conditioner that gives my hair all the hydration it craves without weighing it down can be a bit of a challenge. I'm sure plenty of you know exactly what I'm talking about. That said, when the opportunity to test Aveeno Positively Nourishing Moisturize Shampoo & Conditioner came about I just couldn't pass it up. Read on!

Think fast- how many eyeliners are in your beauty stash? Or, more specifically, how many black liners? I know I have my fair share, especially of the liquid variety, but how can you not? There is just something about the perfect, black, flick. Make Up For Ever knows this, and have recently introduced three new black liners- Artist Liner, Ink Liner and the one we'll be discussing today, Graphic Liner. Read on!

You might not need to be told, but it's winter. If winter was to be summed up in one word, I'd say dry. Straight up d-r-y from eyebrows to toes; I swear every bit of skin gets dry at the mere mention of cold weather. It's the same thing every year, but the dryness creeps before you know it you feel like you're composed of sandpaper. Something I've recently come to love is Avon Skin So Soft Signature Silk Perfecting Oil as it's a great solution for skin that craves moisture. Read on!

Lip gloss was one of my first beauty loves, so I can't help but get a bit excited when it comes to new formulas. While the Mary Kay NouriShine Plus isn't exactly new (it is to me though) they've recently added seven new shades to the range. Even if you're not the biggest lip gloss fan, this could be the gloss to change your mind. They're that good- read on!

Cleanser... An essential item in every skincare routine. You know, if we're being honest, I don't get too fussy about cleansers. As long as they cleanse and don't leave my skin feeling super stripped, then I'm usually a happy blogger. Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule... Anyhow, today is all about getting your cleanse on so cleanse, baby, cleanse!

Ah, the neutral... It's a glorious thing, but if we're going to be completely honest, it can get boring. You know it. When you've done the same shades a trillion times (estimate might be a little on the high side) - we all get in shadow ruts, it's okay- it's time to change things up. I was inspired by Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Deep Forest and a few other Maybelline products which lead me to an earthy, green tinged eye of the day that stays in neutral territories, but is far from boring. While you've technically had a week and a bit to recover from all the holiday shenanigans you may have drank yourself into, your skin might not be back in fighting form. From too many late nights, delicious, but not so great-for-you foods, stress, and the fore mentioned drinky-poos, the holidays can do a number on your skin. Luckily, there's a solution- and it couldn't be easier, because, work... No thanks. Anyway, it's Rodial Super Acids X-Treme Hangover Mask! Read on.

While talking with a friend, she mentioned that this is the year she's going to step up her skincare game- and by step up, I mean start a regime. To say she's a newbie is an understatement, but lucky for her, she's got a blogger friend who can help her out *coughs*. It's also great timing because I've been testing out the Cetaphil Derma Control Oil Control Foal Wash & Moisturizer which are perfect additions to any skincare routine. Read on for more info and to win a set for yourself!

The new year is the perfect time of year to change things up. It just makes sense- new year, a fresh start. While I didn't make any resolutions, I did make a few little changes to be a better me. Change can be scary, no doubt, but it can also be stupidly easy. And really, who doesn't like stupidly easy? One of my little changes is in the style department as I've added a new pair of glasses from GlassesShop.com into the mix. Read on for a closer look!

Happy 2015, blog fans! What better way to start a new blog-year than to start it off with not only polish, not only Essie polish, but a little more glitter?! Now that the holidays are over, collective glitter consumption will likely slow down a smidge, but there is always room for a little on nails. Essie has recently expanded their Luxeffects range with two new glitter toppers in the form of Rock at the Top and Summit of Style. Read on for a closer look!
