Lipstick! Can you tell I didn't have much of an intro today? I do have a few LA Splash liquid lipsticks though, so it all works out. While LA Splash has a wide array of unique lip shades, I've got a slection of more wearable, everyday type picks If pinks, nudes, and purples are your deal, read on for a look at Athena, Charmed, Hermes, Bewitched, and Alice.

I've previously reviewed LA Splash liquid lipsticks (here, and here) so I won't get to in depth in terms of the formula, but basically, they're long-lasting, fade, smudge, transfer, and waterproof lipsticks with a true matte finish. The formulas don't give lips any hydration, but I don't find them to be terribly drying either. Yes, lips can get a bit dry feeling after a few hours, but I don't find these to be destructive and my lips do run on the drier side.
Athena (formerly Nala) is a soft pink, with just a hint of peach. The Studio Shine Lip Lustre shades have a shimmer or glow within them, with Ahtena having soft golden shimmer. I find the shimmer to be almost completely undetectable once the lipstick is dry. It does show more when wet or when removing, but don't expect to much during wear.
Charmed is a taupe kissed nude. The shade has a bit more of a pink-nude hue than Ghoulish, but still has a bit of that grey undertone. I'm majorly into greyed nudes and love this shade.
Hermes (formerly Hermione) is a vivid pink with a slight coral undertone. I love that this shade has some punch without being too bright and should suit almost every skin tone.
Bewitched is a fuchsia kissed purple that is straight up gorgeous! Like Hermes, you're getting a vivd shade, but it's not overly bright.
Alice is a medium depth, plummy purple. As a Studio Shine Lip Lustre, it has a bit of a tonal radiance (whihc isn't present in my photos.) This is another shade purple lip lovers are going to want in their collections.
Overall, I'm very much a fan of LA Splash liquid lipsticks! I wear them quite frequently and love that their stay-all-day formula truly does last without the need to touch it up. It allows you to rock a bolder shade without the worry of smudging, weird wearing or fading, and doesn't end up on your teeth.
One last note, if you're a Canadian shopper, be sure to shop on www.lasplashcosmetics.ca to get the correct shipping price. The US site ships to Canada, but charges more and adds duty to your order. No need paying duties when you could be buying what you really want: more makeup! Have you tried these? Are you a fan of liquid lipsticks?
