Shop it Out with ABAA Beauty

abaa beauty::: press sample :::

I make it no secret that I'm Canadian, but you probably know that... right? Being Canadian and living in Canada is pretty great, but there are a few downsides. Most of which come when one tries to shop online. Shipping can be ridiculous. I don't know how many times I've filled my cart on a site that says they ship here only find the shipping is $67 (or some other equally outrageous number) The Canadian dollar fluctuates (a lot) which means my money doesn't go nearly as far- why hello, $0.70 on the dollar. It sucks the fun out of shopping pretty quickly.

Luckily, there are some great Canadian sites, but they can be tricky to find. One that I've recently discovered is ABAA Beauty. Not only are they Canadian based (in Mississauga, ON to be exact) but they have a pretty amazing selection of products at reasonable prices. They were awesome enough to send me a few bits to chat about so read on for a look. Oh, there might even be a discount too...

abaa beauty joico vero k-pak colour

ABAA Beauty has a pretty vast selection of salon hair products, including Joico. I've been really impressed with everything I've tried from the brand so far, but I didn't even know they did semi-permanent hair colour. They do! I'm always game to try a new colour so expect to see Joico Vero K-Pak Colour Intensity Semi-Permanent Creme Colour in Mermaid Blue, Light Purple, Fiery Coral, and Black Pearl on this blogger soon. Although, maybe not all at once...

abaa beauty seche restore, clear, and vite

Along with hair products, ABAA has a fair selection of nail polish and related products. They carry China Glaze, OPI, and Seche. I am an on and off Sche Vite user, but always have a bottle of the top coat on hand because you really can't beat it in terms of drying time. It goes without saying that if you have a bottle of Seche Vite, you're going to need a bottle of Seche Restore. Since Seche Vite thickens as you use it (chemicals in it evaporate, thcikening the product) a thinner is necessary to return it to a smooth flowing texture. Seceh Restore is also great for reviving nail polish that may have thickened as well.

New to my nails is Seche Clear. The base coat was developed to prevent nails from yellowing and aid in polish longevity on natural nails. I'm currently testing it, so we'll see how it fares.

abaa beauty incredible hair rings

ABAA has their own product, in the form of their Incredible hair Rings. The plastic elastics are the traceless, gentle, and tangle less coil kind. I find there is an adjustment period when you switch to this style, but once you get used to them they're amazing! They not only reduce tangles (and breakage) but they're easy to remove and don't leave weird dents in hair. ABAA's come three to a pack and offer six colours- clear, black, brown, blue, pink and yellow.

abaa beauty amika digital titanium glide styler

Orange isn't one of my favourite colours, but you can't help but but love the happy print on the Amika Digital Titanium Glide Styler. ABAA carries a variety of hair tools including straighteners, curlers, and blow driers for your styling needs. I was sent this gorgeous straightener and I am very much smitten with it. It's more than just cute, as it heats up in mere seconds. The digital display allows you full control when it comes to your desired temperature- from 190F to 450F- and the titanium plates glide through hair with utmost of ease. The plates feature infared heat to leave hair looking shiny and healthy looking with one pass. The straighter works perfectly for straightening, curling, and creating waves

Overall, I'm quite impressed with the selection ABAA offers. Shipping is limited to Canada at this time, with standard shipping starting at $5.99. Not too bad, right?! It gets better though. Use the code IKNOWALLTHEWORDS15 and get 15% off your order. Do you shop for beauty essentials online? Tried any of these products?
