Happy Friday, lovelies! It's sunny, and almost warm (it's trying...) and a particularly great day to talk blush. I've been using the same blush for months, and while I do love the colour, it's time for a bit of a change up. The Smashbox L.A Lights Blush & Highlight Palette in Malibu Berry is the perfect way to inject a little extra colour into your life. With two blush shades and a perfectly paired highlight, it's a pretty much pert palette.

"Inspired by the depth and dimension of the magic light of L.A., this palette features curated, long-wearing, richly pigmented blushes and a highlighter for a youthful-looking flush of color."- Smashbox

As I just mentioned, the Smashbox L.A Lights Blush & Highlight Palette is home to two blushes and a coordinating highlight shade. As you may have guessed, the Malibu Berry palette (one of three options) features berry and pink hues. The slim, lack palette houses the powders, with a full mirror in the lid. The palette has a durable, weighty feel, and secure closure, making this a great option for traveling or tossing in a makeup bag. It's made me realize I need more blush palettes in my life.

Each of the powders has a easy to apply formula, in that it's not so pigmented that you have to be ultra careful, but also pigmented enough that you don't have to layer product. The blushes have a satin finish, with Rich Berry being a medium depth berry, and True Berry being a pink-berry. Both give a gorgeous flush and will suit most skintones from fair to deep. The highlight shade, Highlight Berry, is a paler, pink based shade with a soft gold luminosity. It's stunning! It's soft, but glows on skin and lacks any shimmer or particle-type glimmer. Instead it offers up pure, refined sheen and glow. You need it.

Overall, I'm very much a fan of this palette! The shades are perfect with formulas to match. Smashbox does it again/ What do you think? Could you use this in your life?
