I might have gotten my dates wrong... No, I totally did. I thought Father's Day was next weekend. Turns out it's not. It's tomorrow. Womp womp. Normally I don't do Father's Day posts (as I happen to be fatherless, and lost my dad a few years ago, in June) but for Lush I can make an exception. To celebrate Dads, they've created some really cute bath bombs and soaps, and what we'll be chatting about today, the Smuggler's Soul range. The range is home to three products a solid shampoo bar, multi-purpose cream, and a facial scrub (I don't have it, sorry!) Read on for all the info...
Lush Smuggler's Soul Shampoo Bar 55 g $16.95 USD / CAD and Multi-Purpose Cream 90 g $18.95 USD / CAD
The Smuggler's Soul range is based on a warm, smokey sandalwood scent. While the range is marketed towards men, the scent isn't overly masculine and can very easily be unisex. The sandalwood isn't overpowering, as it's combined with vetivert and lemongrass for a bit of freshness. I couldn't detect the lemongrass as lemongrass, so no worries if like me, you're not a fan
As for the actual products, Lush has created a very pretty blurple hued solid shampoo and a multi-purpose cream. The Smuggler's Soul Shampoo bar combines cocoa butter, watercress, and cucumber to moisturize hair and keep the scalp feeling cool and refreshed. The Smuggler's Soul Multi-Purpose Cream is a very Dad appropriate invention, as it can be used not only as a face and body moisturizer, but also as hair styling product and shaving cream. Formulated with almond, argan, and coconut oil, this cream is rich any hydrating but lacks any heavy, greasy feel. Dads who aren't into multiple products will appreciate the one and done useability.
Overall, two great picks for Dad (or any guy really.) As mentioned the range also includes a facial scrub. What do you think? Will you be gifting any Lush products this Father's Day?
