I've realized that since I started blogging, I've got no idea what a normal amount of anything is. Like, how many eyeliners do 'normal' people have? A friend told me four- a black, a brown, a navy, and a colour (purple was her suggestion.) I have a ton more than four, but I;m okay with that. I recently added three more, and I'm pretty okay with them too. The newbies in my stash are the super slim Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Gel Pencils. They're pretty great, but you'll have to read on to find out why...
Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Gel Pencils in Sharp Brown, Refined Charcoal, and Defining Black 100 mg $7.99 USD / $11.99 CAD
I've used a lot of different liners, but none quite like this. The Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Gel Pencils boast a super slim shape (1.8 mm to be exact) which allow them the ability to create a very slim and as the name implies, precise line. I find the slim shape makes it easier to get not only a very thin line, but you can also get your line super close to the lash line. The liners also boast a long-wearing water-proof formula that wears well on the water/tight-line without smudging or wearing away instantly.
The range currently has three shades- Sharp Brown (matte deep brown), Refined Charcoal (metallic/shimmer gunmetal) and Defining Black (matte black) which are great staple shades. I found the formulas to be pretty smooth and easy to apply, but the matte shades take a moment to warm on the skin before being perfectly easy to apply. That said, they don't tug on the skin and don't skip, so you can easily create clean lines.
I didn't really expect much from these before trying them, but I love the slim shape. Defining Black has become a go-to liner for me, as it creates the perfect slim line that hugs the lash-line (no gaps!)What do you think? Tried these or want to?
