Fake it Til You Make it with Arbonne Sheer Glow Highlighter & Nourishing Facial Oil

arbonne sheer glow & nourishing facial oil::: press sample :::

Fake what, you might be asking.... that glow of course. Not the faux tan, bronze sort of glow, but that lit from within, amazing skin, type of natural glow. The kind we've all spent a boat load of cash on trying to achieve through our skin care routines. Arbonne has you covered twofold when it comes to getting your radiant glow with their Sheer Glow Highlighter (with which you can fake it) and their Intelligence Nourishing Facial Oil (which will help you make it.) It all makes perfect sense now, right?

Since making it takes some patience, let's begin with the faking it. The Arbonne Sheer Glow Highlighter is a great way to trick the world into thinking you sport a totally natural, glowy complexion Now, if it's a super intense glow you crave, this isn't for you, as it truly is sheer. If it's a naturally dewy, lit from within glow, then this is for you.

The highlight has a light, lotion-like texture and a soft pink hue. As mentioned, this is sheer and as such gives a skin soft, radiant glow but lacks any shimmer or strong look. As it's sheer, this works well allover the face (over or under makeup) but might get lost if mixed into foundations as it is subtle. It's even a nice option if you're going without foundation as it leaves skin looking brightened and perked up for an "I woke up like this" effect. Bonus- it leaves skin feeling silky smooth too!

Now that we've got our fake it method down, so it's on to the make it step. Making your glow requires a bit of effort and a bit of product intervention like the Arbonne Intelligence Nourishing Facial Oil.

The oil comes in a weighty glass bottle and is dispensed via a pipette/dropper. Inside the bottle you get a rather incredible dry oil that is enhanced with ingredients that contain omega fatty acids 3 and 6, sea buckthorn oil, coconut oil, squalane, alfalfa and chicory root extract. The clear, scent-free oil is antioxidant rich and super light- it feels like water- which absorbs into skin with incredible ease. As it's a dry oil, it doesn't leave any oily feel but is instantly hydrating. After using this for a few weeks, I've notice my skin does look brighter and radiant, but best of all really hydrated. This makes an excellent warm weather moisturizer as it disappears so quickly and cleanly. You're not left with any heavy feel on skin, but you're still adequately hydrated.

Overall, two worth while additions to your routine if you crave that natural glow. I am completely smitten with the oil, and love the highlighter for a subtle hint of glow. What do you think? Interested in either of these products? Tried them?
